Yeah I also did not watch the match, but look on the statistics shows liverpool has controlled the match and you are right nice to put a money on liverpool in the next match.

Liverpool's next game should be easy and they should be able to win it given that their last game with manchester united didnt destroy their morale so everything should be good and they are ready to go for their next game however this doesnt really guarantee how will they perform in their next game
next opponent for Liverpool is West Brom and they will playing at their home ground again Anfield and i think shouldn't any problem for Liverpool against West Brom but i don't think this match will so easy for them but as long as Liverpool not underestimate their opponent Liverpool will win i guess

I would be careful in saying that.  Remember Klopp is up against the real Tony Pulis this time.  Cheesy  He must have learned a thing or two from Mourinho's park the bus strategy and he might use it vs Liverpool this weekend.  It could end up having another 0 - 0 score line.
there will be no longer interesting match in this league if every EPL teams will using parking bus strategy when they met stronger team and every match will so boring however i think Klopp have already learn how to facing this strategy and we will see this weekend could Liverpool win or they will have draw result again

I don't have trust on Liverpool team in this match, and the Last match Liverpool spoiled my hopes. It was such a boring game and end with no score. So this time I will not take a chance. I will go with live betting. Let's see at least in this match Liverpool can score or not. The opponent team also the strong team I think this game also end with no score.

Yeah the season has just started and nothing is decided yet. Just look at Leicester City this season and how they were doing last season - big difference right?
By the way I thought you are a Liverpool local but apparently you live out of town and drive to the home games? I have always had the impression that you were a local because you have said that you visit all the home games so. Do you live somewhat close to Liverpool or what?

Just over an hour away so not too far. I don't go to every home game, on average around 8-10 times per season. My next game is against Watford in November. We play West Brom on Saturday but I'm not at that which probably means we'll win 5-0 (just my luck Cheesy)

Oh okay 1 hour travel time is not too bad I guess. It surely makes up for a nice refreshing getaway journey with friends going to Liverpool matches  Grin It would be great if you could share some photos of the stadium atmosphere and the bar/restaurant where you will be staying next time. I love seeing pictures of sport venues and fans  Cheesy Anyways I will keep my fingers crossed for you because honestly Klopp is kinda more likeable than Mourinho right now lol.

I think Liverpool rarely underestimate opponent when they play at home, of course Klopp know it and they will always take the opportunity to win. because I think West Brom is not too strong, but still can make a surprise. but quite surprised by Liverpool, when they play against weaker teams sometimes less good game, but the opposite of, when their game against a great team, the game is getting better. some examples against chelsea, leicester and arsenal, liverpool could win the game but against weaker teams like burnley they lost.

Liverpool made me sad with disappointing end but fan of Manchester United looking very happy for this draw result, I am very disappointed to see none were made a goal there and I had lost my bet on both teams to score but put another into 2nd half on Liverpool and got very ending from this clash.

Actually Manchester United is the one who make me dissapointed, because they are playing really defensive and like parking a bus infront their goalkeeper. Luckly Man United have De Gea.
nowadays a team who managed by mourinho will have a playing style like parking bus ,
previously in chelsea he did it and now in manchester united ,
it was bad decision from manchester united management to hire mourinho ,
he is not suit to manchester united , he might need to takeover national team manager instead a club for now.

Well, it's really unfortunate though. Manchester united make this match become boring, not like previous match liverpool vs man united that always have a good match.
yepp the way of manchester united playing against liverpool like a pussy ,
they have no idea what to do when they are under pressure so they just keep defending ,
everyone expect a full attacking from both teams and produce a lot of goals ,
too bad manchester united ruin the big match!

Mourinho is a dinosaur tactically, he played very defensively & didn't ever try & make a real attempt to win the game. Man Utd had 35% possession which is unheard of for them. Their fans won't accept it for too long. LVG got sacked for poor performances but he won the FA Cup, he also wasn't allowed to spend as much as Mourinho.

Mourinho is just an expensive version of Tony Pulis at West Brom.

Yeah, that's what the people in the media and at Twitter have been saying.  And I think it's kinda unfair and hilarious at the same time.  Expensive version of tony Pulis?  Seriously?  Don't get me wrong, I'm a Pep and a die hard City fan but we have to take everything from an objective stand point.  Tbh, I think it was a positive outcome for United.  They need to hold on and catch up with the other clubs above them so snatching a point at Anfield is a welcome result.

Quote
What will Man Utd do in their next game away to Chelsea? Probably the same as against Liverpool, play anti football.

I think Mourinho will surprise everyone.  He'll play a style the opposite of what he did at Liverpool and will be going after the lead in the first half and then defend for their lives at the second.  I will be betting on United draw no bet this weekend which was offering 2.45 the last time I looked.

Hey LFC_Bitcoin did you enjoy watching the game live on the stadium because honestly I got bored during the first half and fell asleep when the break started lol  Grin But yeah I agree that Mourinho absolutely parked the bus in that game. I think he lost his coaching mojo or his methods aren't effective any more. If he fails in United again I think he will just leave England for good  Grin

What are you talking about?  That WAS the the Mourinho coaching mojo.  As I've said before in this thread he parked the bus when he was in Chelsea, Inter and Real when he was vs a strong, aggressive team,  The game vs Liverpool was no different.  Mourinho is a pragmatic manager.  He'll do what needs to be done to get points.  Imo, he did the right decision as he needs Man United to catch up on the top 4.  Imagine if he tried to play "beautiful" football and lost...   That situation will start costing him his job.
yeah i think you are right Manchester united didn't perform well but a lot of people expected that Liverpool will win the game arleast but they didn't manage to score and if manchester united played very well and lost the game people would'nt even talk on their perfirmance and the game and Mourinho wanted a win from the game from a set piece but he was not that lucky to get that

they "should" win but I'm with ya. Sometimes team have those hang overs after
getting beaten in a big game. Think I will stay away from that one.

Sometimes that happens to them or should I say that most of the time however this time they seem pretty different. ALthough they game ended with 0-0 however they truly have control over the game so it seems to me they are just going to win their next game easily however that doesnt really guarantee things

Hey man,

I usually go with my brother & we just sit in normal seats but took my girlfriend last night. We stayed the night in a hotel in Liverpool & drove back today. We had hospitality tickets so pre match meal & drinks. I enjoyed the food & drink more than the game Grin

Quite disappointing not to win but was difficult to play our normal game. Mourinho restricted us & suffocated our style. I suppose a draw is better than a defeat though & after 8 games we have played Arsenal, Chelsea & Tottenham away plus Man Utd & Leicester at Anfield, despite that tough start we are only 2 points off 1st place.

It's a very long season but we are in a good position I guess. There will be lots of twists & turns in the season.

When I looked at the formation Mourinho used, I predicted that he will be using defensive strategy, which he put 3 midfielders on the pitch. I didnt watch the match, but I saw people saying the match was boring. Too bad, I bet on Zlatan and Coutinho to score lol.
Paul Pogba started on the classic number 10 position,  he been begging for a more offensive position, well he got it but still nothing special. 0-0 score line was expected for me, but the low quality football produced by MU made me sick again. Maybe Mourinho should consider dropping Pogba, give him some times to think about his mistake on the bench and we'll see what actually gone wrong for MU.
