Their rating him for his potential.  Under the right manager he could be England's no.1 defender.  With the EPL stacked with so many good managers, he has a good chance to work under one.  Some people even argue that David Moyes, who is manager of Sunderland now(?), is a good manager.  Grin

Some said that he has the potential to be the next rio ferdinand if he is given all the regular time for him to play and so far he is getting that  on everton so if he wish to move to a club then he should be considering his spot in the main squad rather than being a bench warmer because it might be affecting his career
yeah moyes is a good manager if he is not under pressure because when you look at his career in everton he always had some consistensy in performance and even battled for championsleague spots with minimal ressouces so that an acheivement and for stones i think he is just a good young defender and nothing special about him

Francis Coquelin is preparing to play as a center back due to a number of injuries, including Per Mertesacker.

Gabriel and Laurent Koscielny were left behind as Arsenal traveled to the United States for two preseason fixtures.

This sounds to me that arsenal is just a cheap club, they should be signing another defender instead of turning coquelin into a defender. They use the same thing that manchester united used before, turning daley blind into a defender and that totally ruined his performance for the whole season

they maybe be cheap but they always invest at the right moment and they almost never buy player on summer only on winter
that's why will they buy someone on winter

not every player who can play in defensive midfield can be a good defender true their are many who done it successfully but in this case arsenal should buy a new defender as coquelin cant handlet all when injuries start hitting their team

I don't get the hype around John Stones, he doesn't even look particularly great at Everton but who am I to doubt Guardiola if he wants to buy him.
believe me, that a coach knows better the needs of his team.

I think the hype around stones is that he's a quality centre-back NOW when he's very young, meaning he has incredible potential for the future. Imagine signing a guy who could be the heart of your defense for years to come as he continues to improve and mature. However, I agree that an enormous sum of money shouldn't be paid just for potential.

Manchester City are confident they will be able to buy John Stones from Everton but may only acquire Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus if Pep Guardiola is unsure about the fitness of Vincent Kompany.

Guardiola sees Stones as the type of ball-playing central defender he wants for City. Everton values Stones at £50 million while City value him closer to the £42 million

Rumours are out that guardiola will be trying to sign bonucci as well as stones eventhough kompany is fit to play. With so many schedule this season, they cant really afford to keep on going with kompany all the time, replacement should be made and therefore the better options would be to have more defender

I know he is young but 50 mil for a guy who could not get in the england back 2 for euro 2016? 50 mil makes him the most expensive defender of all time by 40%. Crazy.
they are saying that City would be willing to offer Wilfried Bony as a makeweight in the transfer but it is believed Everton want a cash-only deal.i am waiting for the day that everton shows where the money that they are selling their money going to
John stones have a pontential career like john terry, that's why mourinho want buy him twice. first time for chelsea and the second offer for manchester united but i think city would get him cause city offer wilfried bony in the transfer offer.

Guardiola (Man. City), Conte (Chelsea), Mourinho (Man. United), Klopp (Liverpool), Wenger(Arsenal), Pochettino (Totthenam, at least two of them will not arrive in the first 4 useful places in the champion 's . For at least two of them will be a failure . Perhaps it is the most competitive and balanced season ever in the premier league!

yeah. will be very interesting next season.
I think Wenger and Pochettino have have a slight advantage, because they have a season behind him at the club, and almost all players who know each other well. all other manager must first adapt old and new players.
i can't wait
Even Wenger has been in Premier League for 20 years, he has a big advantage Grin Ranieri was the new coach for Leicester City on 15/16 season, but in the end of season he brought Premier League title. Yeah adaptation is a problem, but if you are great coach, I think it's not a big issue.
Ranieri and Wenger both coaches are good but during be a manager for big teams Ranieri could not get the trophy and with Leicester he could get EPL trophy without spend a lot of money for bought the players and Wenger has the most longest-serving coach in EPL currently even last time Arsenal become the champion in 2003–04 but he has made Arsenal become the big team in EPL

Yeah especially if they really want to win the CL, they'd need that rotation of defenders.  And not only that, they would need a rotation of forwards too.  Aguero alone can't do it.  I think they will get Aubameyang before the transfer window closes.  I am hoping a Lewandowski shock move to City would happen.

Aguero alone wont be enough for the team, they should be signing lukaku if they want someone as good as aguero. Dortmund will never be releasing aubameyang because they wont have anyone to replace him, their best chance of getting another striker right now is lukaku or vardy
