Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood was composed and took that shot with immense maturity to make it 2-1. He is just 18 years old. He has a great future ahead of him.

Newcastle United seemed to have the situation under control, happy to be 0-1 ahead and happy to hit Manchester United on the counter attack but their plan backfired because of the raw speed Manchester United have going forward even without Daniel James on the pitch.

Comfortable first half for united, except the early scare of going behind as early as 17 minutes into the game, but goals from Martial, Greenwood and Rashford in the space of 25 minutes gives them a two goal cushion and it should be all united from here till the end of the game, probably add one more goal in the second half.

I also do not see that happening, it looks too high a mountain for Newcastle to climb, if they throw everything at United in the second half in a bid to equalize, I think it'll cost them the more as they'll be exposed and will concede more goals, damage limitations tactics should do for them in the second half if you ask me.

Arteta survived the defeat on his inaugural debut on the Arsenal coach bench. Ancelotti got better results by winning. Arsenal's game pattern did experience a slight change. Even though they didn't win, I saw a change in how the ball flowed from line to line as they built their attack. However, their main problem is still no major improvement, namely the defense. Looks like Arteta needs to buy a new defender soon.

Watford managed to hold a draw today against Sheffield United.
I was hoping for home win, and they where attacking all the time, but not enough for win.

Yes it was a great match that was able to score in the second half so Delle Ali was able to save Tottenham Hotspurs, but bad luck at Chelsea and Arsenal still hasn't won this match, especially last week's Arsenal match is also a draw so players are still less convincing for Arsenal .

Chelsea's form has been very erratic thus far in the season, and this loss at home further opens the door for the closest teams to sneak into the top four. Tottenham are just three points away amd Wolves could move within two points if they win against City at home (although this is unlikely). I expect Sheffield to remain in the top six, at least until the next matchday when they face Man City at home.
So many matches in the new year run up and so many good odds being put out there. I was optimistic for lots of goals, but we haven't got much so far today. Would the Liverpool match change that?

Nobody thought that Chelsea lost and I'm sure many gamblers lost money in this match, I saw this match as arranged from the start Cheesy

but that's just my hunch without proof
Arsenal also failed to get 3 points, whereas next Arsenal will be against Chelsea, certainly not easy to get 3 points.

Well they again helped the bookies to made their money.
For Arsenal it's in fact predictable that they were going to start from behind in the first half. If anyone look back in their previous match history then they will understand what I am talking about. In most of the matches in the first half they will lose and then in the 2nd half they will score either to win the match from behind or make a draw like today.

Next match, Utd and I am hoping them to win (I would not surprise even if they lose).

Arsenal have equalized through Aubameyang. I am watching the match and from the look of things, they could easily win the match if they keep pressing hard.
As for the Chelsea match, Redmond has just scored a second goal for Southampton. I think it's going to be another home loss for the blues

Only Chelsea are not able to return to Gol at home maybe this is less luck for Chelsea so this defeat makes Chelsea have to be confident again.

Now waiting for the match between Manchester United vs Newcastle, if this will turn around again like Chelsea, let's watch the match.

I wonder what happened to Chelsea when they played with the big team last week with Tottenham 2-1, but when they played with a low club they lost 2-0 at home.
Are the players less solid so that their concentration is lost and unable to score.

Honestly, I expected a comeback from Chelsea and Arsenal to go down again Bournemouth. And it happened the opposite lol.

Not quite a comeback for Arsenal but they did a good job out there to save the match and held them to draw.

Everton is also playing bold under Ancelotti. I can feel a change incoming in them.

Interesting derby today where Leicester plays against Liverpol.
Liverpool won against Flamengo in CMC and they be tired. They also miss few players today.
Can Vardy magic be good enough to beat Loverpool?
I am not sure, buit I expect a game with lot of goals, and their H2H suggest that also.
Both teas have best defences in EPL , but I expect both teams to score here.

When I looked at the first half Tottenham's game was not attractive, I saw it didn't even show the game of clubs that were trained by an experienced coach, but thankfully they won if not Mou will blamed VAR decision which annuled goal from Kane.

It was pretty obvious, wasn't it? Mou realized his mistake a bit late (having two defensive midfielders), and as soon as one of them left the pitch (Winks), everything changed: build up plays near the 18-yard box, counter attacks, long balls from one flank to the other...Eriksen is just world-class. They'll certainly gonna miss him once he leaves.

Anyways, i'm off to a good start in both my four team parlay and the Majestic 7 (Spurs to win - Kane as goalscorer)
