Snip

Do you really compare Manchester united with West Ham ? rofl. Manchester United is a big team and pleas look at the last match man united against Arsenal, it's so hard to make a goal for Arsenal. This match play at old Trafford though, pretty sure man united will play offensive too. With De Gea, man united will be safe! 2-0 win for man united for me.

I was trying to say parking the bus is not the kind of football Manchester United is known to play inspite having packed it against arsenal and collecting the much need points. Talking of West ham they are back and Chelsea might get hammered should the hold the current result.

I try an easy double-up today in Premier League:

Burnley vs Watford
Burnley has always done under 2.5 goals at home in Premier League (7 of 7 times).
Burnley is a very defensive team, at home has suffered only 3 goals in 7 matches.
UNDER 2,5 GOALS at [email protected]

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth:
Crystal palace has the worst attack of the Premier League:only 8 goals scored in 14 matches
Bournemouth in Premier League did 13 of 14 times under 3.5 goals.
UNDER 3,5 goals at [email protected]

I think, Manchester city will be champion, this year they are very string, and nobody talk about them un champion's League but if is à serious pretendant to final victory.
I wouldn't agree more, Manchester city is a complete team and they can afford to rotate players and still maintain a winning team unlike their closest rivials Man Utd who rely on setpiece players
Man United vs Man City
December 10, 2017, Sunday.

Odds (ML):  Man United - 3.44.  Man City - 2.20.  Draw - 3.56

Be there or be square.  Grin

This is it guys!  The biggest fixture (IMO) in the EPL this year.  Will we see Man United mix it up and play two strikers up like they did at Arsenal or will we see Mou park the bus against Man City's all out attacking style of football?

Same with City, will Pep play Jesus and Aguero in a 3 - 5 - 2?  I think yes!  So excited.

Parking the bus is not an option when playing against Man City, we saw west ham try this strategy when they were leading 1 goal up and result went against them and Mou knows it too and the only way to defend is to attack and that's what we shall expect to see.

Confident on taking the extra point and a half for Stoke City because Tottenham on home rarely wins by 2 or more (only counting EPL matches). I predict the score to end 1-0 or 2-1 for Tottenham. Betslip for those curious.

Also have Burnley ML because they haven't lost twice in a row and after a loss they either win or draw and with the home advantage they should win.

Edit : Welp Tottenham killed my bet. I got carried away and now just noticed that I mistakenly bet on Watford. Bankroll is still fine I have to double check my bets from now on.

Parking the bus is not an option when playing against Man City, we saw west ham try this strategy when they were leading 1 goal up and result went against them and Mou knows it too and the only way to defend is to attack and that's what we shall expect to see.

But Man United are not West Ham. They're a much stronger team especially at home. City are still a stronger team than United so I think Jose will play it safe especially since they're missing Pogba. One thing for sure is it will be an interesting game and I'll be watching it along with the Liverpool derby.

Precisely. Man United can park the bus extremely well, they have a team built almost tailored to these needs: solid defence, arguably best goalkeeper in the world, a poacher strike and two fast wide players for the counter, and especially a midfield built to frustrate and break down play. Even the overall tactics employed by Mourinho's team is suitable for this... time wasting, injury faking, niggling fouls... look at how they completely dumbed down the match against Liverpool.

That said, they have the advantage that City will expect them to do this, and so a fluent attacking formation can dismantle City, even without Pogba. Mikhi better get his good boots out (and Lukaku!). United need to win this or we can all kiss goodbye to our respective team's chances for the title. I'm down on a bet for them - ML.

I actually think Lukaku is better than Pogba but I seem to be in the minority, I agree there will be lots of time wasting and diving/faking injuries. I think a penalty or sending off is on the cards as well.

These are my predictions for the weekends games

Burnley v Watford 1

Crystal Palace v Bournemouth 1

Huddersfield Town v Brighton and Hove Albion X

Liverpool v Everton 1

Manchester United v Manchester City X

Newcastle United v Leicester City X

Southampton v Arsenal 2

Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion X

Tottenham Hotspur v Stoke City 1

West Ham United v Chelsea 2

This year I can say officially Barca and Madrid won't earn the audience that Manchester United and Manchester City will get. This is match where one team just will attack and the second one will sit back and counter attack. It is pertinent to note that Jose has a home record of Sunday and I am sure Pep is jealous lol. This match will sum up if there is any life left in the Premier League left. It is important that Manchester United win, and as a Manchester United fan, I really am excited to see them win.

Wanna do a side bet with 50/50 odds?  Let's make it cheap, like 10 USD?  It'll make watching the game interesting having a bet with a regular in this thread.  Lol.  Grin

Payable when the mempool back log goes down for cheaper fees.  What do you say?  We both know we're good for it as we're both under the payroll of Boxxob.  Smiley

Yeah, Lukaku once again showed that in big games he can not score. Can Maurinho need Zlatan to release from the first minutes of the match?
Lukaku is a great player as far as I am concerned because mostly in every match for Manchester I have seen, Lukaku scores but he is not yet big player like Messi, Suarez, Ronaldo and Neymar because these guys have a hell lot of experience and they have definitely faced much bigger crowds than Lukaku have faced that’s the only reason that Lukaku is unable to score goals in such big games you are asking about.
I think Lukaku is just a matter of time. If he continues to be trusted by the team to always play in every game then I am sure Lukaku will get the time to score in big matches. Now indeed Lukaku still has not found his goal in a big game because I think Lukaku still need to adapt and his team has not found the best performance in this season that is seen from the inconsistent results in every game that his team lives.
Lukaku is their main man this weekend against Manchester City isn't he?
Since Pogba is out of the derby from receiving that red card from their match last weekend.

I was surprised they won their last match in the Champions league the way they were playing in the first half being down a goal. But they managed to pull it out of the fire.

But I don't know about this matchup this weekend playing against the best team being unbeaten for so long. They will definitely be tested and without their star player in Paul Pogba.
All other players like Mata, Rashford and Martial have to step up their game if they want to win this one.

Liverpool play crazy in the last 9 matches with 7 wins and 2 draws. They also scored a lot of goals, with that they are very ready to face Everton in Derby Merseyside. But Everton are also in good shape, under new manager, Big Sam, they immediately showed a great game, this is also a warning to Liverpool.

I predict there will be a shit ton of draws this weekend with only a couple of goals in most of the games. I actually think the opening game between West Ham and Chelsea could even be a draw as well or at the least very close. Not sure whether to go for a 1-1 or 1-2 on my predictor.

Well it's looking like that but lets see how they fair against Manchester U in this weekends game.

I'm so excited for this week derby. We will get to see the best two teams playing against each other. The visitors to show dominance and the hosts want to prove that they are not giving up also both manager have been compared against each other for long time last season Jose showed success by winning 3 trophy's with United while Pep struggled with getting a single trophy after spending hard in the first season but he managed to finish above Jose in league now 8 points separate both teams hosts have been great at home winning every single game at old Trafford this season in all competitions while Citizens have tasted only one loss that came in last round of Championsleague o hope that Jose don't park the bus like he is used to do in big games but still the end I expect a home win or Draw.

Yes it will be the game of the weekend. I actually think it will be a draw, City are the better team but United have the vital home advantage though if United won it will make the league more interesting as they close the gap. And of course Jose will park the bus LOL.

Crystal Palace are still in the relegation battle even though they have managed to maintain 4 games without a loss in a row, Bournemouth seems to be struggling at the moment and this is a game that Crystal Palace can't afford to lose any points, my bet will be on Double Chance, taking Crystal Palace and Draw.

West Ham could have scored 1 point in four games with D. Moyes. goalkeeper Adrian performed really well last week. Chelsea will wait for the end of Manchester game. The home are expecting a lot from the team. It is a wish that there will be a game where we will watch plenty of goals.
