There's some rumors going around that Ronaldo is leaving Real and is in talks with a club te media will not name because it's a 'secret'. Lol. But I'm gonna assume it's Man United... or maybe PSG?

I don't feel it's a good idea to underestimate West Ham, Manchester United yet needs many big players to come in and make the team strong. While many have got excited to hear Ronaldo coming home, I doubt it, firstly his transfer cost is way to high though United can buy him but then they will find it difficult to buy any one else. Secondly we will loose DE Gea for sure if this goes through, I feel he will stay at Madrid and will make them pay the penalty money and take home increased salary.

I'm not underestimating. It really is an easy match for United not only statistically but also historically. But of course it's never a sure win like with anything else. I'm not saying that Westham has 0% chance a tall. I'm basing my statement with all of the years of following football.

Speaking of United, wouldn't it be nice if Ronaldo came back to the EPL? I'm a City fan and I should hate it, but I don't because that's maybe only chance that would make Messi think of playing under Pep again. Grin

That's the first day of premier league though, so i think everything can happen. But, that match is play at old trafford, Manchester Home. I'm sure the home advantage will be big in the first day. Nah, Ronaldo will keep playing on Real Madrid.

Of course Guardiola will have to do better than last season.

Chelsea will surely be the protagonist again but will have to look for a great striker (Diego Costa will leave).

Mourinho and his Manchester want to return to be protagonists in the Premier League and want to fight for victory.

Arsenal for the first time after 20 years will not play the champion's league and can engage 100% on the Premier League.

Klopp and his Liverpool, without injuries, may be the surprise of next season.

yeah also there is a problem now at Chelseaw with a very hight possiblety that Conte will be resigning. Because he is a coach with a personality and does not accept interference in his work. And it is easy for him to find a new team because every team will like to see him as their manager he is a coach that succeeded wherever he went and travel now some Reports have emerged in Italy, where Conte is on holiday with his family, that he may be considering his future.

Chelsea are relaxed about the situation and insist Conte will remain on as manager next season.

Really very tough job to predict the champion team specially in English premier league, but I can bet with Manchester United if they will sign James and Morata from Real Madrid. Otherwise it'll be difficult to keep themselves in top four, at this team formation, a class striker and play maker are absent, so they have to look forward to sign two players...

My fav team is Man United but you are right we don't underestimate the West Ham. They are also strong in this competition. Manchester United is looking, Ronaldo to join this team but I am not sure that he will come and play for Man United. He is the very expensive player they need huge money to buy this great player. So he will play for Real Madrid only. I think this news is just rumoured there is no official news I heard regarding this matter.

I doubt West Ham will prove to be too big a hindrance for Manchester United, Playing at home will be a very important factor as well, Brighton may pull a surprise though, but i doubt it will happen. Chelsea may lead the table on the first day.

Without champions league tournament for this season, Arsenal can fully focus their attention to the English Premier League, arsene wenger is really under performing as a manager for so many years at Arsenal without clinching a major trophy. If Arsenal can't even manage to get into the top four again in this season, I think it is time for arsenal to find a replacement to replace him, there should be no more excuse.

Sanchez and Ozil have played a very important role in the Arsenal team.Leaving them to go will be a very big blow to Arsene Wenger. He also needs to have more quality players to strengthen his team. Relying on a few individuals is very dangerous for any team. He needs to have a wide choice so as not to overwork the current players. The community shield between Chelsea and Arsenal will be a very nice game to watch.

This early into season even losing all first games won't affect too much of the final results. So for me this game will show nothing when it comes to probable future league winner. We can even look at this last season when Chelsea who won the league had to reinvent it's defensive totally after losing against Arsenal. I even hope that some teams will face disastrous losses at the beginning so they still have time to improve and rethink their formation or tactics.

Great to see Newcastle back to premier league. This is where they belong. Their first match is so exiting, they will face the strong club Tottenham hotspurs. Spurs might not winning the league but they have tje strongest defence last season. This is the best opponent for Newcastle for first match.
