Your word of motivation is highly appreciated and I believe newbies will be grateful to you when ever they come across this thread but one thing we must not forget is this, not getting enough merit doesn't mean the community isn't seeing your good works and not having merit doesn't mean someone is not growing, so many people are here for different reasons some are here to acquire knowledge of cryptocurrency only while some people are here to have more knowledge and to render some services too so I think everyone is for a particular reason.

Not forgetting that merit is one of the things that takes some one to another rank but we shouldn't forget that the said merit is one of the easiest things to get here because it is freely given and it is freely received all you need to do is to put in your knowledge to writing but taking out time to read and get informations that will be helpful to the community and the people in it. When ever we motivate newbies, I think we should also encourage them to work and not be relaxed hoping that good information and knowledge comes easily, I hope they get motivated after reading this.

These are just some kind words of advice and encouragement from me to those who need it.

Staying here on this forum is by choice and not by force, there are thousands if not millions making registration each day amd are not staying but only few stay because they realized the need why they should, as usual i expect every newbies to encounter one or two difficulties while staying and this shouldn't be an obstacle to their stay, all should rather be considered as part of the requirements on learning process and later will turn to their experience, nobody should feels intimidated here just by mere discussion when they are not what you receive in physical, if you really want to stay then you must learn and never feels intimidated during all the period of your stay.

Participation in a forum like this shouldn't solely revolve around the pursuit of merits and ranking up. If someone's primary motivation is to accumulate these then, they may be missing the essence of the community. Instead, it's more meaningful to be authentic and view this platform as a valuable opportunity for personal growth and learning. Engaging in discussions about cryptocurrency, money, blockchain, and related topics allows individuals to expand their knowledge and expertise over time.

When you genuinely contribute to the community by sharing insights, asking thoughtful questions, and engaging in meaningful discussions, your efforts are likely to be recognized by fellow members. Merits and other forms of recognition will naturally follow as a byproduct of your authentic engagement. This approach benefits not only the individual but also contributes to the overall improvement of the Bitcoitalk community as well.

I think as a newbie, trying to figure out how the forum work so as not to get banned was my initial challenge and sometimes you make a post that you think is of high quality and it's not recognized that much.

I still draw strength from your post and will take my time to make quality posts and engage on other posts are see how the growth process will look like

This sounds like something that would definitely inspire beginners, in my opinion. Actually, it's not easy at all, but the more you participate in the forum, comprehend its guidelines, and post worthwhile discussions, the more merit you'll get. In order to avoid discouraging newcomers, I would want to encourage people with high rank and merit sources to always offer merit for quality posts.

This difficulty is one I initially encounter. I had trouble coming up with good topics to write, but the longer I stay on the site, the more I begin to get the idea of Bitcoin. So, right now, contributing to the forum is quite simple. I urge newcomers to thoroughly research a certain subject and to express their opinions on it. Do not post or comment outside of the themes.

I don't always do this often but I thought it wise to say some words of encouragement to the newbies as I really do understand how much effort it takes to grow on the forum and I want to use this medium to advice all newbies to keep pushing and not restrain from making meaningful contributions to the community because you aren't getting the expected appreciations for your works and efforts which I understand is most times disheartening but I want to encourage you to continue the good works as most times merits and rewards might not come at the expected time and might even take weeks or even months before your work gets recognized, hence what I'm saying in essence is that if you don't make quality post(preparation) then merits (success) wouldn't come, so keep making good post and I assure that the desired rewards will come in.

These are just some kind words of advice and encouragement from me to those who need it.
Your words will work for the newbies (mean it will definitely encourage them to not give up) but I would also like to add my version, which is, that newbies have different mindsets, which means, they have different purposes here, some want to learn, some want to earn, some want to get trust (trust of other, not positive trust) but of course some might be looking to get some positive trust too, Just because these aforementioned things looks good on their profile. Besides all that, I have seen many newbies even legendaries have made a good topic or reply but for some reason, they don't get that much appreciation.

For such cases, there are many merits sources who have opened threads, to mention such topics or replies so that those merit sources would give them some appreciation. To be honest, I don't think newbies will value the importance of merits at the start but as time passes those who don't will understand it.

Pro tip, don't post to get merits or trust. Post to get a reputation, be legit and dedicated to the forum, and of course try to contribute and grow faster. Join your local board, because I have seen many newbies don't even know that they have their own local board, Like I came to knew about my local board after a long period.
