Altcoin really worth investing?

It depends on the altcoin. If there is good community support and good development, then it is worth investing.

99% of coins are garbage.
The only purpose they serve is to pump and dump on an exchange and make some rich people even richer.

I will be surprised if more than two or three coins ever become accepted for payments on any site.

Valar Morgules, All coins must die!

but seriously, almost all of the altcoins that you see in this market like i can even say 95% of them are only pump and dump coins which are going to die slowly. the bigger ones like ether will take a longer time and smaller ones like vox take a short time to die but they all die eventually because they serve their purpose.
And then they are make new project again. yes i agree with you

standard price?!! where did you get that from!

when an altcoin is useful and good (like litecoin, monero, dash, and so many other old coins) or in many cases if the altcoin has a developer who knows how to pump and dump his coin with lots of hype (like Ethereum) the price will go up in any other case they will die

so these two coins you named are the last group which has nothing to offer and the owners don't have the power to pump it or they have already earned their money through ICO scam and left the project to rot.
yes i think they are is ico coins and then they are must be have standard/ico price. monero, litecoin, dash they are now still popular coins and i'm still believed with their project and fo the other coin i was agree with you, yeah maybe they are just left their project

Coins which have very low marketcap and low interest will always remain in low price as well as trading volume for them will be almost zero and some dead coins have even zero trading volume. Better to trade only high marketcap alts rather than bagholding bunch of shit/dead coins.
i think if there is any dead coin on exchange they must delist that coin, i dont even think to trade some dead coins on exchange

the coin is just not popular anymore, failing,or can't attract people to buy it so the price is low,but whether the coin is failing only can be decided by looking into the coin's 24 hours volume were traded,if no one buying it for about 1 week or more then it's sure a fail coin
so many popular coins now they are isn't popular anymore

There's not really a "standard" price, they're worth what they're worth. Depends on what the coin represents. Sometimes the creators sell their coins for a fixed amount and the exchange will usually represent that, other times the coin can be a type of credit for that specific chain. A lot of the time it will just be worth what people think it should be worth, in the same case as bitcoin. Supply / demand / etc...

ICO coins like VOX were being dumped when they are released in the market. It appears that people do not have confidence in the devs resulting in the downward price pressure. Other coins could drop because big players are selling off to create panic to buy even cheaper. I have seen this many times when a coin keeps dropping without any news. A few months later, there comes the huge pump.

any objects price (including altcoins) is calculated based on supply and demand.

the supply is what you can see miners selling on the markets and also the traders and bag-holders dumping.

the demand is what people like you and me and other traders buy. so if no one or very little are interested in that particular object nobody is going to buy it so when they dump the price only goes down.
