I don't think there is anything scheduled for that date so predicting price for some random date like that doesn't make any sense. Price might be at over $4k by end of this august. Segwit gonna activated within next few days, that might affect the price alot.

I don’t think so there is anything wrong in predicting the price of bitcoins for any date or day. Though there is nothing scheduled but still in the shadow of coming events, we can predict the prices. Yes, Segwit is going to affect values in a positive way.

All jokes aside, i think that $4500 is a very achievable level after 23 August. We have seen the 1st August event absolutely blowing everyone's minds and the price going way up instantaneously. We have seen after 8th august when SW was locked in how the price went up to $3000+ and is still climbing.

And all this without a thing that's actually been done really. So when SW is actually activated i would suspect another $1000+ rise. This will take the entire crypto market cap to more than $150 billion. However, not all coins will benefit. Bitcoin cash, for one, will probably drop dramatically after segwit is activated.

If $4500 isn't hit, a $4000 level will be broken at least.

By August 23? Hmm it's quite a short amount of time to say that it will reach $4,500 but it's possible to happen. I'll go with that it's going to be at $3,700-$3,800 on that day I guess we are now in a slow movement. As this is what I observed with the movement that it has calm move for now.

I suppose it's gonny be something like the last halving: Everybody is sitting infront of the computer and waiting for some miracle to happen.
But in the end it turned out that the expected price increase has already happened.
And the situation we have right now strongly reminds me of that.

I am not updated so what will happen on that 23th of August ? if there's is something good $4500 is too much without staying about a week or a month in $4000 that is a huge price jump.

im also positive that it will grow to that level as we see that there's more newbies who also invested with this system and a lots of
new networking style which also making bitcoin/crypto involves for people awareness so its good to see that btc will go up after this
time frame.

Due to the awareness of bitcoin. It price is keep on increasing day to day.Today the is around 3495$ ,which is very close to 3500.So you can see the price of bitcoin greater than 3750$ I think. I may be huge rise in the price of bitcoin in coming two to three days.This is the thing which the Investors waited for long.

Well I think you are rushing things here. August 23rd is just days apart from now and getting that kind of price hype will be bubblish. It is still best to have a slow and steady growth. If your perception happened, I am almost certain that a price dump will happen. Many will sell their coins to gather their profit and others will follow due to the fact that they will be scared if the drop continues. I am seeing that a 4000 USD will be more suited for the date.

Im guessing $4000 or more to that day, activation of segwit will make the bitcoin great again and investors running in more.

I think more of a $4000 range, $4500 can also happen. It depends on how the people react, I am thinking the increase in price will be gradual and not an instant hike.

Well the constant rising of price now is because of scaling debate from the community of how far bitcoin will go.
It is the talk of the town if the price will go up or down.
The $4000 is more realistic to be happen before august 23 as we are now in $3400. So maybe $4500 by next month hope to be happen.

I agree with you, now the price of bitcoin goes quickly up. If this continues, then soon we will see a stable price in the range of 4000-4100 dollars. Many have long been waiting for this price

I don't think so if that price is reach by bitcoin for 1-2 weeks, because $4000-$4100 I just believe that amount was in hard to achieve. Also bitcoin value in the market is fluctuating into $3300 - $3500, I think on August 23 BTC price was around $3000 - $3800 not sure but looking forward to that price.

seeing from a lot of positive comment from all people here i have to agree with them that probably after august 23 there will be next ATH from bitcoin and $4000 looks not impossible however i have a plan to bought bitcoin today to testing how correct people predictions and holding it untill that date

Most likely the price will increase and hopefully it'll reach $4000 by August 23. Bitcoin has been increasing almost year after year so we all are expecting it'll reach a certain amount by end of this year. We are not far from reaching $4000, so let's just wait and see what will happen by August 23 then.
