I would not do anything stupid to sell bitcoin even though the current situation is out of control, i believe most bitcoin users in this forum are smart and do not panic to sell it.
For beginners who join this forum, i ask do not panic with circumstances like this, because this is only temporary and the price will surely rise again.

I panicked and near to sell everything to fiat but I remember past bear markets and how I regretted after dumping my bitcoin and even altcoins. I am now sitting at %50 or maybe even bigger loss but I don't mind, its nature of bitcoin.
Thia drop is caused by combination of the ico hearing in US, mt.gox sell off, overall market performance over the past month, and negative media coverage are contributing to the decline in the value of the crypto market. When market is dropping like now many people are suffering, it's hard to stay strong when money is slipping from our hands, or its feels like that. Many big news in past months outside crypto community are against bitcoin and entire crypto, they are making it to look like nothing good is happening, they can slow down the progress of crypto but they can't stop it or make it disappear. I'm glad to see how many people in this topic think that holding nownis much better then selling in panic and losing money, things will be better again, we just need to be patient.

Bitcoin and altcoint fluctuate where market prices go up and down at any time, but you can prevent price reductions by holding prices down! Current decline in bitcoin price is because of Mt Gox sell.They won't be selling till september now and thus chances of Bitcoin bullish trend is low now as people fear Mt Gox may dump again.I hope we get some good news and bitcoin price rises again 
Yes, I agree that panic selling during price downfall of Bitcoin and Alt coins is not a good idea. This is part of the natire of the crypto currency, to fluctuate over time and this must be set on our minds prior to investing in order for us to avoid panic selling of our investments which would have an impact not only to yourself but for the whole Crypto community as well.
When we panic we do not have good judgment, and this is what will make us lose and regret, I always believe that the future of bitcoin will continue to improve so I will hold, let alone buy bitcoin when the price is $ 17000, and I prefer to lose all money rather than loss.
As much as possible, you have to hold your crypto assets no matter how bad the cryptomarkets look. If you will sell your cryptos at a cheaper price, then you are losing already. So why don't just wait for the proper time for you to be able sell your cryptos at a very good price?

It's normal that the price goes down, for the newbie or new comers the market is volatile and you shouldn't trade at this moment we all know that altcoins are depending on bitcoin price technical analysis is not effective at all even though your projection is right. Well Don't panic what ever happens and if you want to risk big then invest that you can afford to lose.
Yes it is a normal for bitcoin market that price may up and down. We have to hold for our bitcoin for the better profit and patient this time. I agree it is volatile and should know the risks at the first place when you invest. Panic is not the solutions this time everything will turn bounce back to moon its price.
