Has there been any reported case of death, or heart attacks, caused by bitcoin exchange rate?
I don’t know of any but I will not be surprised if it happen already, if bitcoin lost a lot of value then you could get a terrible impression and get a hard attack, but it could also provoke heart attacks when the price skyrockets.

We are back to near $1100 now. I think the hard fork will not happen, and if it happens then it will crash but quickly go up again as people dump their BTU for BTC.

So buy some heart attack meds and have fun, BTC will win in the end.

Let's all just sit back get a popcorn or something, because we are seeing a recovery right now. I LOL at the heart attack meds mate. I hope the price recovery will continue in the next coming weeks so that we can just relax and see our investment grows. I'm not into bitcoin in 2013 when it crashes but I will for sure not have a heart attack and not panic that time.
its seems that it will be a bounce back now hope no one got an heart attack because of this downfall and for those who knew how to play with btc
better to keep watching and enjoy how the price moving as of now, waiting for another ride keep it up guys cheer up and relax..

The price is already more than $1100. It seems people have recovered from the statement of the Exchanges that they will keep the old bitcoin intact.
The price will always be stable enough for people to hold and feel comfortable unless they put in far too much and can't afford to lose it, which they should never have done in the first place.

I think we can say with reasonable certainty that you should only be afraid of prices around $1000 if you've just joined Bitcoin within 2 weeks and haven't actually seen how it fluctuates or why.  This should be pretty normal to people, unless they're day traders and they need to think about exactly when to buy and sell.

It would be interesting to actually hear some news on national TV about someone being dead after seeing the price of bitcoin drop about  50 to  a hundred. Its an unusual news to people who knows nothing about btc. I don't think it would make the news bad for bitcoin but certainly it can grab the attention on individuals who are into investments. I think it doesn't have any difference during the first friday of the month when non farm payrolls happen which forex market gets wild swings.

I love crashes. They are fun to watch them on cryptowatch or bittifex. Just some nice armageddon music in the background and some dramatic comments here on bitcointalk. Fun guaranteed

Bro see the above post or at least check the value in Google search. Its touched 1106$ now. It means price recovered from the dump to rising face again. If you love crashes simply then hold it or buy some bitcoins still you thing price is seems crashed.

I lost 300$ just because I sold late (had to pay some in fiat and have been waiting for the price to hit 1270)
didn't sell at 1250,then at 1220 then at 1220 ,finally had to settle at 1040 Sad
but this happens in trading, now waiting for the price to hit low to rebuy

Bitcoin is not for the faint hearted.  Smiley
The 2013 drop is the most likely trigger for a heart attack. We are now in docile territory.
I kinda agree with you since bitcoiners shall never faint even if the price is dropping like crazy. Of course we would take advantage of that to buy more and wait for another rise in price so that we can sell again then buy. Anyways a 50$ drop is like an ordinary scenario for bitcoin though so it will likely not cost a heart attack since seeing some kind of a drop like this is normal.

In a days time the price drop has took place more than $150. This something very big, also I don't think that the price increases in the short. We may need to wait longer to experience the price increase to the point from which the price crawled down reaching $1060.

Bitcoin price goes up, bitcoin price goes down. Bitcoin price goes up, bitcoin price goes down. Just another day/week/month/year/hour in Bitcoin World. *yawn
yeah right, fluctuation always happen inside the trade and its not worth dying for maybe its needed a strong nerved before entering the
trade and learn from the mistake, everything will happen if you know how to believe, timing and patience are relatively needed from this
business.
That might not be the case for retired personals who are into bitcoin trading recently and if they are trading with the retirement fund with the advise of his child then you can have a case of an hear attack with the price fluctuation we have in this market.  Cheesy The price is moving down rapidly expecting a fork anytime soon and with some miners backing BU,a group of exchanges has released contingency plans in the event that the bitcoin network splits in two, creating two competing currencies. I actually ended up spending some bitcoin before this latest drop, so I'm not too shaken by it.  I keep telling myself I'm not going to spend anymore, but then I end up doing it anyway.  Oh well.

C'mon.  +/- $50 in an hour is like one of those kiddie rides at the carnival.  It's not even close to the roller coaster.

Lol! Ya the other day when the ETF was declined bitcoins dropped ~$200 in what, half a second!? Lol. It's not a big deal. If you can't handle the ups and downs then you'll never be a whale!! Go back to fiat where you're guaranteed to lose a nice steady 3% a year of buying power Smiley

Thats why I leave trading Bitcoin from USD, shorting them or putting it long will make you pissed of when the fluctuation is not in favor of your position. Always put a stop loss.
