Small change that is absorbed within the next few days
People buy Bitcoin to prepare for BBF and the price rises in the short term, after products are purchased the merchants convert the Bitcoin into cash less a percentage they may decide to keep holding and the price will drop.

I thought Black Friday is normal for in store shopping? If that is the case, the there is little impact. Bitcoin is good for on line shopping.

That is true. If people use bitcoins for online shopping then their will be a some demand for bitcoins and it may impact slightly on prices but may not be much because as of now not many major online shops accepts bitcoins as a payment method. So I think because of black friday sales there will be very slight impact on btc prices.

black friday and christmas make btc goes down of course its simple you need fiat for chrismas you dump the coin and the terror of crime connected to btc=isis makes coin goes low too
Quite likely such a scenario but still would like to hope that a Christmas rally will not escape us and will give us a little happiness Grin

The more webshops have promotions, the more people will buy btc and spend it.

It would be a perfect oppertunity to test the network. Let's aim for a great succes with millions of transactions.

We could end this great btc year with a price rise and the succes of black friday & christmas shopping.

We'll probably see some selling pressure but this year's bitcoin black Friday will probably be the smallest of the tradition whilst trading is still seeing stable volumes. It's likely that that this year's impact on the price will be less significant that 2013/14

Black Friday didn't have much of an impact last year. The price briefly went up a little afterwards, then crashed heavily down. Perhaps this year will be different. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Nevertheless I don't think it will affect the price heavily.

I think this event is way bigger than last year, so we should see an impact on the price Roll Eyes
But it should be a temporary one, after the event is done, the price should go back to the way it was before Tongue
But i hope i can make a pretty good profit in the temporary price surge Wink

Maybe you care to elaborate it. How could this increase the value of bitcoin.

The bitcoins that people buy (price increase) will be sold by the merchants (price decrease) so it will be balanced?

IMO, there'll not be occur a special pump or dump during blackfriday. Instead, might occur more transactions than the ordinary day.

i doubt that there will be any decent impact on the price, well it might grow about 5 per cent but its possible without the black friday either

I can't understand this hype around black friday, last year nothing happen, so why would this year happen something...?

People will spent it, merchants will convert it and people will buy btc to buy more so they can spend it..

I don't really see any significant impact on price because of retail sales. Maybe next year, not this year. If it does happen to change in any direction it will prolly be because of something else. More likely the whales will use Black Friday as another opportunity to disguise another pump and dump.

I vote for no change as well. Although, with the current campaign pushing bitcoin black friday, it might end up being different than last years.

It is just a day of shopping. May just as well speculate that christmas will pump the price.

We keep hoping for the price to go up at black friday and Christmas, but I also can't see the price being much affected. The only thing that will greatly affect the price is the block halving a lot people are waiting for.

Black Friday isn't a significant thing to Bitcoin, not enough merchants accept Bitcoin.
Might be a very short tiny spike, but the merchants selling it right back off will kill any jump from folks buying it to USE it on Black Friday.

The "tighten regulations" news out of the EU will be a bigger price driver.
