Manipulation is always a possibility in this market because it is not centralized and the controls are not very well received.
its like whales who was the most of the market can give orders to rest of the people in the market. Just like in old days one king has the power and the whole market was in his control. If you have a lot of capital or coins than any other people around the world then you can easily manipulate the price by giving all the coins at cheap price or buying all the high price coins. it effects a lot in the market and can also be lead to market crash.
All the markets that exist today, are whale-only games that are in control of price increases and any price reductions in all exchanges, so it's no wonder that prices in all markets are not so balanced that they are beyond logic.
there is no regulation, no serious players! there are only big whales with big wallets! which greatly affect the decrease or growth of bitcoin, and accordingly to the growth of all other coins! every year there is less and less opportunity to regulate prices and earn big money on this! soon will be an honest game!
of course possible. but believe me in 2 years this cannot be possible anymore. with this marketcap, some rich guys do some manipulations and hurt us 
Personally, I believe that large players manipulate the price to buy at a low price and sell on a high, but this is not only the case in the Cryptocurrency market but also in all other markets. Yes the news is true and that is in America. It is a good thing for that investigation to go on because of the many scams in cryptos. At least this development will encourage people to trust and invest more in cruptos.
in my country safe safe, perna once twice, because it is allegedly bitcoin transactions in use as a means of money laundering in use by the mafia or crime. but afterwards it is safely under control.

Price can be manipulated by the Media and the whales. Media can manipulate the price of Bitcoin by releasing some news that can manipulate or influence the decision making of traders or users. Whales have a direct influence on the price of Bitcoin due to the fact that they can buy or sell a huge amount of Bitcoin anytime they want. Buying will increase the price and selling will do the opposite. So yeah, Bitcoin price can be manipulated. 
It's a normal thing, they also want more and more profit that's their goal in manipulating the price. but still few people realize it. And nobody can ban or stop this thing.
Only the real big whales can manipulate the price for it to keep fall if they want it to drop. They whales with billion in the bank surely can easily manipulate the money on bitcoin. But that not sure how they can do it. Must be some specialist has do for them.

It's t typically normal things to happen that bitcoin will goes downward or decrease but in this situation some of us makes panic and felt afraid because they thinking that they can be suffer from losses that's why they do panic selling which is makes so much affection to Bitcoin movements. Price manipulation and even manipulation was even possible in the exchanges. I remember before when bitcoin was still accepted in China the big Chinese exchanges were accused of manipulating prices as well as btc volume. This could not only be possible to China but to all other exchanges as well.
that's right, I think that's because there is a large whale presence. That's the main cause they actually contribute to the failure of bitcoin as currency. This is not what we want. I hope that we will pay attention to this matter well.
I think price manipulation is part of a trade trick, big whales come and pump prices after prices soar, whales sell bitcoins and prices will fall back.

possible because there are the presence of bigtime whales. It just sucks major cause they are actually contributing to the failure of bitcoin as currency. It all depends on fake orders, fake pumps and a lot of dumps, whales and cartels. This is not what we wanted. I hope that uS will take a good look into this.

The market price of coin in exchange are different from one exchange to another, base on alt-coin that is trading and demand is little high, I have been experiencing the price manipulation on exchange
