it is not easy to explain crypto and blockchain technology development to friends. some of my friends are aware of and support what I have been doing for more than 3 years with crypto.
When it comes to trading and investing, I can say that more of my friends are interested in and support what I do than those who are prejudiced.
this awareness grows maybe because they are in the same frequency environment as me. most of my friends love the stock market. not something really difficult actually explaining to them. even now crypto is getting more and more popular in the stock market.

Friendly advice, don't waste time convincing someone that something is good or bad, right or wrong - adults are not children but fully formed people who in most cases do not want to accept other people's explanations or suggestions. The reasons may be that they just have a low IQ and can’t figure out some things, to the point that they’re just jealous of what you’re doing and don’t want to admit it.

If you're happy with what you're doing, don't worry about what your friends think about it - you're not doing anything illegal that their advice should be considered well-intentioned. Life is too short to worry about what others think, the sooner you understand it the better for you.

In my experience also, the people who are most willing to give advice or convince someone usually do not have the full information themselves and can even often give the wrong advice.

Human nature is also such that once you are convinced,,, then you have high expectations of profit. And then when things eventually do not work out (as is crypto),,, they blame you.

This is the fastest way to lose family and friends.

When it comes to believing in something whether its bitcoin crypto or any other thing in life, you will have a lot of people who would tell you not to do it or its a stupid idea and they will disagree with you, for one reason or another either they have no idea about it or they have personally tried it, you always have to trust yourself and believe in what you see right as long as it has no threat or negative effect on your life. and when it comes to bitcoin or crypto, this is overlay common because of the negative image sent out by the media about it and the idea that they have planet it in a lot of people's minds about how it is used by criminals and overlooking the positive things that brings, and it is our job to promote the positive side of it and change that idea about it.

I used to be an accountant. Two years ago, I came into contact with a cryptocurrency company in a business, so I resigned and officially became a practitioner in the cryptocurrency industry. Till now, not every friend of mine knows about my new job, even though two years have passed.

I have suffered a lot of pride and prejudice against investors and practitioners in cryptocurrency industry.
Initially, I talked to my friends about my new job without reservation until I found out that some of them should thought cryptocurrency investors a group of gamblers, the mob.

Sometimes, friends in the traditional Internet industry would say they want to know my job. I deemed it friendly communication. But when I hadn’t spoken a few words, they would say with confidence, "our company has been engaged in technology for more than 20 years. The underlying technology of Bitcoin is very easy, not difficult for us”, or “what is the value of mining? There is no value at all, just a waste of resources”. They are no fan of the current applications of blockchain. After my explanation, they simply felt that there’s something wrong with my brain. I meant to have heartfelt communication but that turned out to be a foolish act.

Of course, I have met outsiders with willingness to to accept new things as well. Some don't care about blockchain or disruptive technology. Their only concern is how to buy and then cash out, short-term operators. While others gradually become long-term investors by trying to understanding this industry in trading.

What would you do to your prejudiced friends?

I already had a time when I tried to explain to my friends and acquaintances what cryptocurrencies are and how you can earn money on them, but they did not understand me. Now I realized that there is no point in this, since a person must come to this on his own. A long time ago, when cryptocurrencies first appeared, I also did not understand this direction, but I was still able to take the first step only after one of my acquaintances asked me to simply check how cryptocurrencies work. And you know, I got interested because I was able to get a practical example of using cryptocurrencies. I think that in order to accept crypto, people should simply try the possibilities of cryptocurrencies and then they will no longer be able to refuse to use them.

If your friends ostracized or ridicule you for changing your career or not supporting you doing this risky venture then you probably need to find new friends because they only want to drag you down and they don't plan to help you go up in life, change your circle because a friend who doesn't talk about it or support you in developing financially and as a person is a toxic friend.

Same scenario applies on this mate, even hard earning people also prejudged us in crypto because as they've seen us embracing success envy will caused them to back bite us through wrong perceptions. We all had pride, but it only depends with our way of handling it when we face our friends who didn't have much interest in cryptocurrency. Shitcoins or good coins, that doesn't matter as long as profit follows.

But it does matter to me,,, and friends have every right to be prejudiced if you made your profits from shitcoins,,, because then you might as well have gone into HYIPs and ponzi or pyramid schemes. I also hate those who proclaim crypto and lambo moons but do so at the cost of deceiving others into pumping coins for nothing but profit.

People desire wealth in their hearts. Getting rich is people's first reaction to the encryption field. Digital currency makes some people rich, and those who don't participate will naturally be jealous.
Simply put, at first you think it is worthless, but when the price slowly rises, they will feel powerless.
What does this show? Sometimes, hard work will not make you rich. On the contrary, we profited from speculation in one year more than they worked hard for three years. This is beyond the scope of their understanding, but they do not understand the industry, and participating in it may not have considerable gains. They must be biased in this field, so they disagree with what you said.

They are jealous when prices rise, and gloat when prices fall. Shocked

Been there but it's not an issue to me and I'll just mind my own business so do they mind theirs. But if a time comes and they need a helping hand to understand what they've mocked before then, I'll be there to tell them some certain things that I know. And if I cannot help them with what I know, it's their time to spend doing their research as our time learning and thinking about blockchain technology and bitcoin took a lot of it from our lives. Well, just do not mind them and do not be too discouraged whenever there are still people like that you meet in the future. Just as the other people that have thought negatively about bitcoin before, they're quick to join the bandwagon.

I totally do not get your friends who work in internet,,, why are they talking about mining only when Crypto industry is far bigger than that (and besides, which internet worker these days actually knows how the internet infrastructure really works unless they are IT engineers). And who needs to know either?

Anyway,,, I think it is silly being prejudiced to any job. Crypto people are terribly prejudiced towards banking jobs, when they do not realize 99% of shitcoins and even Bitcoin is dependent on it in most places.

This is where my focus do sticks on and i wont really care that much on what would be their perceptions after i do make out some explanation neither they would set their foot in or would just simply even criticize or would just simply ignore you.

And this is the sole reason on why i dont really care off on explaining crypto even with friends of friends or any connections with other people yet they would be mostly be interested on how
they would earn fast bucks.

If they would just realize on how hard it is then they'll surely lost interest.

To me, I don't think you need to convince them to understand your perspective and the kind of work you are into, I  believe in testimony. By the time you are doing well and they eventually compare themselves with you that is not into employer's job, they would absolutely enquire to learn your skill and ready to follow your path. Money stop nonsense! Try and work smartly so that your new lifestyle can influence them entirely to reason with you not minding their pass jokes and pranks against you. I took this same step few years ago and now, I'm doing well.

People are ignorant about bitcoin mining and they also heard lost wrong information and mostly cryptocurrency will be linked with a scam whenever they hear it so it built a bad thoughts in their mind subconsciously which resulted into hate when someone tell them about it but they actually don't know what it is, simply hating it for someone's wrong information.

I have also met many people who are biased against Bitcoin because they don't understand this field, just like the US dollar is the world currency now, but would you deny the euro and the pound? Bitcoin cannot be denied because of the negative news of junk coins. These people do not understand the value of Bitcoin and cannot communicate, so just ignore them. Explain to them that they don't understand the mystery of Bitcoin, so keep them ignorant.
;DTruth belongs only to that person. Revolution requires time and persistence. With the efforts of our generation, I believe that more and more friends will learn about Bitcoin and join it.

sadly, there are few people who don't believe in cryptocurrency technology advancement that is changing the world as we see it. There is not much you can do about them except guide them to proper resources that brings them knowledge about cryptocurrency and how it has helped bring some of the biggest change in the financial system. At first, people won't care about it but that's only a step in this large world of crypto space filled with greatness. Even if they come in as a trader, they will be inclined to learn more about it in the future as their brain advances to the next level.
Yes, you are right. Now I will only help friends who are really interested, instead of taking the initiative to talk about it.
Only ferry people who are destined.

Nothing really. Bitcoin is over 12 years old now and lots of information are available for anyone interested in learning more about it. I can help out anyone who is interested in learning about it, but would not try to convince anyone who isn't, if they do not understand it yet, they do not plan to.

If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Thank you.I often think of this sentence to encourage myself.
When they expressed their disdain for me, I was still a little discouraged.
In my eyes, their superiority is actually ignorance.
