Nothing new on the coin itself, and no office in my area, so I'll skip it... I was thinking it will be sold out in 5 mins, apparently people are more smart.
For us, priority number one is creating a sustainable business. It doesn't actually matter how much you managed to raise and how long it took you, this is not a race. If you are not able to deliver results to your investors these 'records' don't really matter.
I think by any measure Primal Base has had an extremely strong first day of its ICO. And it's not through yet. I suspect there will be a last minute rush to get in at the discounted rate in the final hours and minutes. It just so happens that today happened to be one of the more "bloodier" days in recent memory for many coins with values crashing all around. That's a challenging environment in which to debut an ICO. Still, Primal Base performed like a champ amid much carnage and uncertainty in the broader market.
I know many wondered if it might sell out in the opening minutes or hour. Maybe under better conditions it would have. Still, it's done wonderfully well. I actually think it might be a good thing for both the project and investors if there ends up being a mix of backers who have entered at the different pricing tiers. It makes the early investor discount more meaningful. And having a small group of investors who enter at the higher price levels gives the project a bit more financing and the token an even stronger overall perceived sense of value and worth at the conclusion of the ICO.
I suspect with what's been raised thus far, the project is already in a very strong position to execute on its plan. I agree with the sentiment that it's not a race or some kind of speed pageant designed to impress the crowds at how quickly you can "sell out." This is a solid debut for sure. And the best is yet to be.
