Huh? Shouldn't you be saying "oh wow awesome those idiots with an advantage over me in hashing power are throwing away the coins so damn cheap I don't even need any mining gear I can buy as many as I want at insanely low prices!" ?!?

Its been really sad to see it drop so fast....

Is there any actual value or in mining using the primecoin method when compared to sha256? Is it a superior mining protocol?
Well it might be more complicated to make pools for it, since breaking up the work into small pieces might not be as simple as it is for hashcash.
Whether that makes it better or not depends maybe on whether you are pro pool or prefer there be no pools due to pools being dangerous concentrations of power.

The supply generation is the same as it was (reducing, yes, but it's not like they're not getting found). It's just getting spread around more it seems (or someone is mining with an OpenCL / CUDA miner).

Current exchanges are pushing down XPM like crazy, but conversely the difficulty is going nuts. Don't be tempted to dump your coins on the market thinking the price is plummeting. With the current difficulty going ballistic I suspect XPM supply is going to dwindle, and price is going to go back up.
