they will be starting the campaign most probably within a week, stunna said in the start of December that they will take one week to start the campaign. But its just taking a lifetime to start it.
I hope this campaign doesn't become something like pd3(we had to wait 7 months to see it).

There are still some bugs that have to be fixed. The campaign should be up very soon.
just an advice to stunna, until all of your bugs get sorted out, you should stop making announcements for the campaign. PD is a very reputed casino, but if you keep on breaking promises , people will stop believing you(specially noone will believe in the time limit you give).

Primedice has always make good of all promises so no one is worried about the signature campaign not being as advertised. Time limits are an other question Grin
Well maybe stunna thinks this is way of making an hype, it worked with PD3 but it really hurts reputation making false promises on exact dates and then breaking them, atleast i hate it personaly.

Is a little bit different when you're waiting for something you've actually purchased to be shipped as opposed to waiting for this campaign to start.

Just a suggestion,
Why dont you start sending payments to primedice accounts?

Technically it might be illegal to do so.

I think that PrimeDice stipulates that you should be of gambling age to sign up to the site (certainly to use it), whereas there is no age stipulation on the campaigns.

Just a small observation, but I'm sure that sending the funds straight to the PD account would ultimately see a rise in wagers from campaign participants.

The signature campaign could ask to be of legal age to gamble. It would be good for primedice to send payments to primedice accounts as a larger portion of the payments would be gambled.

Anyway stunna already decided what to do with payment, so we can only suggest something for the next signature campaign.

If I was admin of this campaign I would do more than just send payment to PD account.
I'd force the participants:
1. create PD account
2. use their PD ref-link in signature.

Ref-link already contains account username. So to be enrolled you don't need to post "Hi, my name is blabla, rank: member, addy: 1dxhN....., number of posts NNN"
Just put you ref-link into signature and you are automatically enrolled. Bot will count all your posts from the signature start time and make payments to your PD acc.
Less work for programmers and campaign operator.

There are certain countries that deem online gambling as illegal and there are members who are not of a legal age to access a gambling website. Doing so would probably reduce the number of people participating in the campaign. Counting all the post would probably encourage spamming which is exactly what most if not all of the community members hate.
Instead of forcing, you should provide an option! And should also add a little more to the people who choose pd account as payment place.

Also, now the question arises, when will the campaign start?

To simplify: just stop. Counting all posts is wrong.
How do you know that it is easier for a programmer? Someone already stated the issue about payments, a few posts back.

It would make sense to make it an option. Money that goes into a primedice account I do not consider my own money, since I don't own the private key.

If that's the case then you shouldn't join the campaign at all because you don't get paid for your signature upfront, you don't even have the btc on any address and that's not your money too, if someone has to runaway with your money he can have several ways to do it and if he is legit, he would pay you no matter what happens.
Pf. You obviously lack experience and didn't live through the bad Bitcoin days.
Money on any address/account of which you do not have a private key, can't be considered your own money.

Nobody is saying that Stunna is going anywhere, I'm saying it is better to give people an option rather to force them to do something.

Yup - payout should always be to a nominated address. Of course that doesn't mean that the participant should necessarily have access, but they have given authorisation.

If the policy changed to strictly send to a (your) PrimeDice account then that would probably be too strict.

I suppose if people really wanted their payment sent to their PrimeDice account then they could provide the address for that account?
Sending payment to the address listed on your bitcointalk profile is the most transparent way to pay participants. Forcing members to receive payment via a primedice account adds an unnecessary level of complicity and will lead to accusations of people not receiving payment

They do have an option:

Join the campaign (and most likely get paid)
Do not join the campaign (and miss out)

At the end of the day the campaign manager's say is final. They decide how to run the signature campaign, your choice to join or not, stop complaining.

Honestly neither did you though, you joined in April 2013. Only thing you went through as I was around at the same time, was the Tradefortress scam. The pirate or other HYIP investments were happening in 2011 / 2012 (the bad bitcoin days).

Then you just withdraw it instantly. If the option was given most people probably wouldn't bother.
If you give me an option to deposit on pd and give me a little incentive, ill surely choose to get paid on my pd account. Most of us would with an incentive. And i think that there are enough gambling addicts that would get the funds transferred to their pd accounts for gambling. That's why i was asking to give an option.

I'm not sure if Stunna would offer an incentive just to get payment sent there. Then most would choose this option just to get the bonus and instantly withdraw anyway so it would largely be pointless other than getting a tiny increase in traffic.

Would probably make sense from a business perspective as many people would be more tempted to gamble (and then lose), but many people also won't like having money deposited directly into their accounts. I'm not that bothered but I prefer the money in my wallet, but if I was Stunna I'd probably send it to our accounts.
