I agree with this. Advertising is advertising. Why does it matter if somebody sees the primedice signature in the off topic section or general discussion? As long as the majority of your posts aren't in off topic and the ones that are, are very constructive, I feel like they should be allowed.

I sometimes post in the OFF TOPIC section because sometimes there are more interesting conversations going on there.  I don't think the majority of your posts should be there, but at the end of the day someone is just as likely to click on your signature there (and end up playing Primedice), as any other section of the forum. More referrals and more people playing is his goal (I am assuming).

I'm just curious, could we get a total BTC payed to all users as a result of this advertising campaign? I want to see how expensive it is to run a signature campaign this big.

Since you asked, and only since you asked:
310214 - Many posts seem borderline incoherent.  I would deduct a large amount of them if you paid him anything at all.
28364 - Mostly posted links to articles.  I guess these could be useful.  However the couple of articles I checked out seemed pretty marginal - basically his blog posts?  Maybe pay and not invite back?
105473 - Really minimal quality posts.
152305 - Given your current guidelines I think you may have to pay him for some posts but certainly not all.  Some are just an addy!
152501 - A lot of posts were outright duplicates, again, some may be legit but certainly not all.
244243 - Some legit posts.

Looking through these I realize it is harder to classify than I thought it would be.  More props to Micro for going through so many and trying to help you out.  My bottom line is that it is your campaign and if you don't think you should pay someone then you shouldn't.

I have posted many times HERE and HERE for example about my concerns of people posting marginal crap to get you to pay them and therefore drain your ability to continue the campaign.  I love this campaign and have not left even though given my posting profile I could have made more with one of the other guys.  I would strongly encourage you to expand the list of posts you wont pay for as many of these seemed to pass the +1, trolling, and no image basic criteria, yet were almost wholly worthless.  I'd also not count all posts made in the off topic thread, but that is just me.

Basically don't feel obligated to pay people who are just abusing your good nature, or at best, pay them and then decline their participation in the future.

Just take a percentage off your total posts
Simple system but be reasonable and estimate it based on how productive you felt you were in the period

No, no , no... Just do some amount u think its correct and maybe add a bit , doesn't need to be exact. I am using excel sheet and put my post count , and my non constructive post count each day . I need to make some changes but i will share that with u guys soon .

yes, you have to deduct unconstructive posts, off-topic, spam and other really short posts that are worth nothing to the topic. You just go post by post and count them, it will take you like 15 minutes if you have lets say 400 posts.


You can also do like MICRO suggested down bellow my post, but that is not as accurate as checking one by one. I checked mine one by one, it was not that hard.

so how do we find the # of posts to deduct then? do we have to sort through every post and then tally up a number?

Yeah for some people that doesn't rly find they way around this forum it can be hard to find ID.

I will suggest to Stunna to put short instruction on first post , same as for how to add ur addy .

They will be paid , if not auto when everybody else than they will be sorted out later , im sure they will.

I have a bit less than 14% of my posts in off-topic section and 4% of them in Croatian and Slovene section so i guess that is ok?  @Stunna

off-topic section with constructive posts =allowed but not if u only post in off topic section or u have like 80+ % in off topic section.

Also alot of topics in off topic section are pure nonsense, and only made for boosting post count. So make sure u stay away from that topics, or deduct posts made there.

I needed to do it like that on list coz i don't know how many posts each user deducted . If i known that i would be much more specific about if they are honest and trying to be legit.

But there is one more problem its not rly good that u make non constructive posts even if u deduct them , coz other people don't know if u will deduct them, so they will assume u are trying to bust post count, and that gives PD a false bad reputation on this forum.

You should wait on Stunna's clarification but I read it as
If the majority of your posts are in the off topic section they should not be counted as constructive posts if you post a few in there now and then and are constructive that is fine but don't base all your posts in that section of the forum.

The other way to read it perhaps also correct is that if the post is off topic in general it does not matter what section you post it in they shouldn't be counted

Yes if u are not on enrolled users list , u should enroll again. And make sure when u get page collect payment after that , to leave it blank and click submit.
