i dont have any software to edit videos (windows 10 dont have windows movie maker) so I use an online tool.

i could erase that watermark, but that would not be honest, so i upload my video with that.

What I mean is using a template violates the rule that it should be an original work. Most entries used templates though so I don't know if they allow it or not. Goodluck.

If it has to be 100% original then everyone will have to make there own fonts, draw their own pics, and make their own video footage which means that recording the screen and showing lucky bet sequences is also against the rules cause it is in no way original to show something that PD made and you didn't. Screenshots of the chat ~ sorry, also not original. Music, lol, going to have to record your own songs.

If you don't infringe, violate copyrights, own the proper licensing and can use whatever you are making commercially ~ then anything you make is considered as original.

So true. Here people are so much talking about copyright and originality that I thought I would need to start writing codes for even creating videos, editing it, adding cartoons or animations and not make use of any video editing software. The OP says that the content needs to be original and no mention about not using a software or the use of watermarks as some software does embed their watermark while converting it. There's something called like Fair Use policy by Youtube.

I agree to that. That rule was only made that someone doesn't violates copyrights. Previous videos contests had also the same rules and lot of users used free templates to make a nice video. However little bit of changes were also made in those videos but they still got accepted.
