Kids on PD3 are starting to annoy me complaining about faucet being 5 minutes when other sites rarely offer upto 2k per 3-5min, while PD offers more. Most of them never deposited, I think faucet shouldn't be given to them or should be fixed until they deposit X amount.
This kid in particular raged when I told him to stop complaining.
I think you guys should tell chat not to spam about faucet time and just check thread for updates. Its mostly free loaders anyways.

Anybody who is complaining about beggers and spammers on chat are just to lazy.

No Micro, I'm sorry but this doesn't work. First with chat scrolling so fast it is a huge pain to type their name. There is a drop down with an ignore option which is great, but it does not work. Frankly, I try to /ignore almost half the chat, which sort of defeats the purpose of having the chat. People engage in so much line splitting to try and boost their faucet that the chat, even when someone has something to say, is hard to follow.
As to the faucet itself, a longer cool down is fine with me. But I don't think it will solve the abuse issue, after all, people can spam chat and then set their timers for 5 minutes rather than 1. Given that most tips seem to be to alt account "banks" I'm increasingly at a loss to understand the point.
I love the faucet, but I am enjoying my time on Primedice less and less and that has never happened before.
I hope you are having a good vacation and the PD team can figure something out. PD is a great site but what is going on right now is some kind of warped coin chat meets daily bitcoins with a dice feature sideline.

I had this bright idea of using the 250 sats/minute faucet on the old site while waiting for the 5 minutes on the new site but that faucet doesn't work, darn lol

I appreciate your responses as I am looking to find a system that is beneficial to real users of the site without being abused too easily. There are some users with over half a bitcoin claimed off the faucet, which was becoming unsustainable.
Removing a faucet you would help those people because then they might get up their computers where they probably spend 20h/day every day to claim few satoshi.

That is insane considering I have trouble getting to 10k from my 2k faucet... xD Maybe that is why I lost 2btc so far haha...

A compromise has to be found else there will be no faucet at all. At the end of the day PrimeDice is a business and it can't keep running something which is unsustainable.

Maybe 4 minutes to people level 0-9
Maybe 3 minutes to people level 10-19
Maybe 2 minutes to people level 20-29
Maybe 1 minute to people level 30-39
Maybe 30 secs to people level 40
Maybe 4 minutes to people level 0-9
Maybe 3 minutes to people level 10-19

I think it is rather unfair to do this in my personal opinion. It has been just over a month since the site went live.

Seeing as their is now a cool down on the faucet, I would have never gambled my money here to increase my faucet because it wouldn't have been worth it at all.
So I basically bet .7(and lost it) because I was okay with losing that amount for the larger faucet, now you removed the faucet, can I have my money back? (I know you won't)
That is essentially how I feel about this situation, I don't think it is fair that decision has been made like that.

This is also how I feel, though I lost less than you (.2) it's still like, really? Bad business to change things up like this after people have been waiting for this for months, and have been promised a faucet that is 1 minute wait time and goes up as you bet and chat more. I only played here because of the faucet, I never was a PD fan even until this faucet came about.

I thought that considering how much trouble there has been with people connecting, autobet, laggyness, etc.... that one minute was even kinda pushing it. I thought maybe you'd comp us down to 30 seconds for like a day or something.

I'm not just one of the faucet suckers either, I'm actually a good high level, have a decent amount wagered, and am down a good amount of my own money.
I play dice here for one reason, and one reason alone. The faucet is kind of a second chance. But 5 minutes, even 3 minutes is too much wait time to sit on the site and remember to bet and do captcha.
Counter abuse, well since the only thing that's actually "abuse" is people using services to fill in captcha and autobet, the people who do this are just going to change the time settings to 3 minutes, or 5 minutes or whatever it is, and they'll still be betting 36 hours straight.
The only thing this actually did in my opinion, is hurt users who use the faucet manually, the way it's supposed to be used.
