All right, it's quite interesting, but I just explored the primedice forum and found no thread discussing the offer you gave. Can you provide a thread about your offer, so that I can read and understand more clearly how it works.

I have answered this a couple times now Smiley

I wonder how much you really looked into the forum because the people who maintain this thread would not be lying just to get people from this forum to join their forum. Maybe you just skimmed a look and then thought it be not worth spending time on  Cheesy

I think it all comes down to how much profit people have as well. Like lets say you bought bitcoin at 10 dollars and bought thousands of it, then bitcoin is now over 11 thousand dollars, you are bound to play some games here, I mean after all you just made millions of dollars in profit, what harm could couple thousand on roll could do to you?

Well, that is true in small cases as well, like you put 1.4k dollars into bitcoin and it turned to be 3.3k after bitcoin went up, well you may play 300 of it back and just take out the 3k, that is how people tend to start gambling around in crypto, that is how I got into it as well. Bitcoin seems to be holding very well so I am assuming it will once again go up eventually and we will see a spike of wagered numbers in primedice easily.

As I can see here usually for some limited bitcoin each person has, they will convert everything into dollars or any currency that exist but for some big player, I dont think that they even count on how much dollars they have. They play with bitcoin so they must get bitcoin as well. For example I have 10 btc and I want to get 10% of it which is 1 btc. It does not matter if the price is surge or not, the result is 1 btc in the end

I think its the other way around. People base everything in terms of the value in fiat.

If Bitcoin was 10 cents each, would you want to gamble and your end goal was to make 10% of a Bitcoin which is only 1 penny? Probably not.

You would probably gamble much larger amounts of BTC because its worth much less than it is today.

Most people that gamble do it with the fiat value in mind. As the price of BTC increase they gamble less and less in terms of BTC but probably the same amount in fiat terms. This is why a few years back you had whales which took double digit BTC bets because it was only in the few thousands and right now very rarely are there any bets which are over > 1 BTC.
I've witnessed those bets before wherein 1btc bets is kinda normal to see since others are even betting more and kinda often to see whale rolling over 1btc. But with the price right now, even .1btc is rare to see and only those who really have balls can make those bets. Well, nothing to be greed and aim for higher bets since the price is high.

I wasn’t aware that PrimeDice had 2k bitcoins stolen from them, even if the value was low back then it yet would have been a huge loss to bear.
When they lost those coins you have to consider the valuation of bitcoin as it was around $250, i am sure its not even half a million dollar but primedice being the king in the niche market at that time, they could very well overcome that loss.

The price drop in bitcoins will effect small gamblers like me, but big whales will continue playing their game as usual. I think bitcoin prices can touch $13k again by the month end, if people continue to buy bitcoins and not sell them.
If the price of bitcoin drops i would be happy to roll more rather than holding back for the price to increase because the amount of loss will be less on papers  Cheesy. Since the market is still showing strength it is likely we could cross $13k by the end of this month but curious whether we could sustain that levels or we will see another correction  Wink.

Aside from the fact that primedice has been around for over 6 years now and never had any issues with getting a collective hacking. There was a time when they got 2 thousand bitcoin stolen from them (TWO THOUSAND) and they didn't put the burden on any users. So we know as a fact that primedice is trustworthy because we have been with them for years and they have never let anyone down.

So, yeah the personal and individual hacking could be a thing and you should be careful about your money and security of it but when it comes to an issue as a whole website I am pretty sure there are no places like primedice that you can trust (of course stake too). The "trust" to websites is not for personal security, that is all up to you whichever website you decide to you but when it comes to "trust" for collective you are on the right place.

Yes but that was long time ago Smiley
Speaking of which, Bitcoin holding it's value around the ~$11.000

What are your predictions for this month and for your Primedice gambling?
Will you gamble more or less considering price has drop.

We can say it was a very small pot amount considering how much big Primedice has become.
I also agree with your speculation about $13.000 price gain Wink

I wasn't aware either of the PD loss of BTC but these things can happen to anyone.
BTC will surely go higher that its current value of 11K, many people predicted and speculate a huge bull run for it.  We'll just have to wait and see how much of a bull run this would be but the more BTC the higher the appetite for gambling gets so casinos won't be short of their regulars

Good reacts from PrimeDice in the way the protected their users. But, 2000 bitcoin hacked, that is a very huge money at today rate of bitcoin. When that event occured? I guess it happened so many years ago, so total fund lost maybe not too big. However, such accident and solution of PrimeDice show that they are a very trustworthy gambling site.

[0.0016] Take the fast lane!

Sometimes you end up on a 3 lane highway.
Unspoken laws say that the lane one the left is meant for the fastest car in the world.
Thats where you gonna enter! But be careful! Sometimes a wild and fast car appears and will hunt you off the lane!

Thats when you need to jump right back to it, to make your meters on the fastest lane around!

Very good thread. And also a very good and strong reputation. I think it has too many accounts that already participate and this is a good sign that this is a great project. But I think it is better if they promote the coin security of every gamer because this is a big factor.

The funds are always secure if you protect your account properly.
That's why we allow you to password up and 2fa your account.

Also email verification is required which ensures that any type of data loss (including account, balance and so on) will be restored back to the rightful owner.

Websites (gambling sites or exchanges) can only provide their basic security for their users. No matter how good their security mechanisms are, if their customers set up weak passwords, or lose their passwords and 2FA codes to bad guys easily, sites are unable to protect their customers and their funds because site owners can not guarantee that their customers' devices are safe and secured. It is a mutual cooperation between sites and customers to keep funds as safe as possible.

The security of the user and their funds is usually up to the user than the website. Basically its possible that a bitcoin service or exchange can get hacked and the customers will lose all their funds, however those chances are slim compared to someone reusing the same password or not using 2FA.

We have all been new to Crypto and saw how easy it is to get a virus or get your email hacked and your funds stolen. So its important that each user take precaution and use a unique password for each site and always use 2FA. And never use SMS 2FA seems the sim swap hacks are very common.

But in general you should never keep all your crypto on anything online whether an exchange, online wallet or gambling site. Get a perfect cold storage setup and know your BTC will be safe forever.
