Reported this issue numerous times but the problem still exists...

I don't get redirected to the secure https:// but to http:// I have to manually add the s, the dev already said they had a weird regional thing before with their SSL certificate.

I'm one of the few who pays attention to such things but I wonder how many people don't and my post on the forum got deleted and I already reported this 4 weeks ago to support.

It's quite severe in my opinion.  Undecided

Bitcoin Price has been lowering a bit more now, will your minds change concerning betting at Primedice?
Tell us what you think about the latest price chances from Bitcoin and other ALTs.
I think as long as players can get their losses back for the past 5 years, price chances are not so much important.

I agree with Raven, you MUST know how much you are gambling. Blinding yourself to not feel regrets when you lose is a bad sign, you may end up losing even more.

A good idea for me is to say to myself "ok, I have 10, 100, 1000 dollars", and play with that. I know from the beggining I can lose up to that amount without any regret.

If you lose track of the money you are winning or losing that is also a bad sign for you.

You are gambling, which means you are risking money, I agree most of us came from countries that gambling was illegal and eventually found our place in gambling world thanks to primedice and initially we were bad gamblers and lost a bunch of money but after a while almost everyone realized that gambling is an entertainment thing and not a money making thing and if you are going to have fun from gambling then you need to keep track of the amount you gamble with.

If you have "too much" fun you could be in debt pretty soon. That is why I always deposit x amount of dollars just in case and do not go above that ever, hell I even withdrew the excess couple times when I won as well. Just keeping the track on the amount you play will make it even more fun since you won't lose too much.

However for people like me who has been playing here constantly for the past 5 years it really doesn't mean all that much. And to be frank with you I play with "fiat" in mind, I do not depsoit x amount of bitcoin in my mind, I deposit $50 worth of bitcoin here to gamble for hopefully 2 weeks (sometimes longer sometimes shorter) and do not care how much bitcoin that $50 equals to at the time, sometimes worths a lot of bitcoins sometimes worths less but its always the same 50$ I deposit. Hence the change in the price do not really phase me at all.

From the logical point of view, you are right, betting itself is the same, but knowing that BTC was once 20k, some people still bet as it is still were 20k. Maybe it is because habit, or because they are thinking "what if I risk X amount, and in three month it is value is 10 times what is today", sometimes even myself lose sense of how much I'm betting, thinking I made a great bet, but figuring out it was a low prize later.
We should always think about focusing so no matter how value it could be as long as we are enjoying and and we are extending the time playing
inside the house that's good instead of playing with thoughts of something else and regret after losing, if we play this way we should not start it
at all.

But we do have our own ways of gambling, either in fiat or crypto best still is to gamble responsibly.

I don't think that changes in price can affect a gambler's behavior. As far as we are playing with amounts we can afford to lose at the moment it doesn't matter what this amount of BTC(or any other crypto) would cost a year ago. I remember people playing on PD when the price was a bit over $200, and throwing 50k-100k sats tips at each other like it was nothing. And it was nothing compared to what it is today. Maybe someday in the future we'll be thinking the same way about those 10k sats we receive now and then in the PD chat these days. Who knows, maybe one day 10k sats will be worth $100. Smiley

It can't really change THAT much. I mean I gambled here when bitcoin was around 150 dollars. Why would my point of view for gambling here change all of a sudden now ? It depends on when you started gambling I am sure. If a person started gambling on primedice during the all time high peak prices of bitcoin and made some money but seen his money lose value in dollar while he is gambling and winning then it would be of course a terrible feeling.

However for people like me who has been playing here constantly for the past 5 years it really doesn't mean all that much. Latest price makes some people being frustrate because all of them expect the price higher but these conditions mostly feel only the traders but for the gamblers it will have not big effect whether the price low or high and they will always be gamble everytime they want and probably they will consider playing at primedice as your wish

I think a low bitcoin price is not good for adoption, crypto services such as gambling sites, and crypto exchanges in general.

Look at how many employees were laid off last year when the bitcoin surge demand dropped and while at the same time the price tanked. Many people lost their jobs and many bitcoin businesses went bankrupt.

I think Crypto is here to stay because its not just a fad like some products but I think the price drop needs to stop and some stability needs to be established in the markets before the retail sector joins back in.

With a service such as a crypto casino such as Primedice, I am sure the old adopters will still gamble they will just risk more BTC per bet instead of less to make up the USD difference. Most bet sizes are all calculated in USD terms, whether they are actually taken in BTC or alts. This is the reason why we rarely get 1 BTC bets these days while in 2015 we had multiple 1 BTC bets.

However if we keep dropping in price, then even if BTC actually does recover in the future, most people will not want to invest in an asset which at one time can lose up to 95% of its value. It will scare most potential future investors. Most people are used to maybe losing 30-50% of their portfolio's such as in stocks with a bad year but the way people lost 90% of their money in less than a year has left a sour taste in crypto for most, and those users will most likely not return.

That topic was basically going nowhere, from what I can tell he seems upset because I think he lost a load of money because he accidently clicked the MAX bet button and is mad at PD for his losses and resorts to calling them racist.

Lately I see this happening more and more in the Crypto world, and not only related to gambling. Back in 2017 when most cryptos were at all time highs the atmosphere was more positive, right now people lost tons of money since the markets turned and the guy even lost more because he lost BTC which already lost money in relation to USD, and he is just pure bitter.

People need to be more patient and treat crypto as a longer term investment and not get always emotional at times.

Hey I’ll agree he’s opened two threads one in the scam accusation, and one in the gambling discussion in the former he calls PD racist, and in latter he claims PD hacked his computer. I feel he’s suffering from Aniexty which shows in his behaviour, and him not being able to restrain himself shows that. It’s not the first dumb scam accusation against PD, and it won’t be the last one too but since he’s got paid time to move on.
I understand his frustration, he is a newbie and doesn't really know primedice all that well. I remember my earliest days in bitcoin as well, during those days satoshidice was the only dice game available and they were in blockchain.info website as well so you could send and receive directly in that website while using the wallet.

I sent an amount once and they didn't sent anything back so I checked and found that you need to send something over some amount and I sent under that amount so the money was not registered as a bet. They eventually returned it with a bit missing because of the fee's but until that happened I made a scene and wrote everywhere like how horrible they are and how they scam people etc etc. It was literally the greatest achievement and how amazing they were and I still didn't care.

Newbie period in crypto could make you do stuff you can regret later on.

Don't know if the Primedice admins have noticed this but there is a user which created some scam accusation but put it in the wrong category about a failed withdraw. The thread is in the gambling section located at :
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/primedice-scamed-me-01-btc-5102712

From what I understand he tried to do a withdraw over 0.10 BTC and somehow it got flagged and needed a manual approval and he still hasn't gotten the withdraw yet.

No idea why he didn't just post in this thread instead of creating a new one.
Just a very anxious person. The amount he was trying to withdraw was over 0.1 which is processed manually and he also got his money already if you check the topic. So what does it mean ? The person who wanted to withdraw didn't know that over 0.1 was manual and thought he was scammed for some reason, that person was too scared for losing that kind of money and didn't think for a second about where he was talking about, its primedice and primedice wouldn't even consider 0.1 bitcoin as something big enough to stall him.

The payout was done and he still kept writing about primedice in bad manner for some reason instead of agreeing on his fault of not waiting couple more hours. Not like primedice paid him in couple days, it was couple hours and just because it wasn't instant dude is still making a scene. Total noob.
Yes, that's concerned already been process, but this guy still saying something though he already confirmed that he already got his payment, just failed to read the rules about withdrawal process, miscommunications especially for those who didn't bother to read the terms.

For those players who are aware about this procedure there's no harm at all, continue playing and look for some luck to go along and win something out if fate give a chance, enjoy and be responsible enough to use only spare money.

Is the small amounts slower bet and higher amounts higher bet still continues ? I haven't tried higher amounts in a while but anything I gamble under 0.001 is taking a second or so to process, which when trying to gamble on automated bets is both great and not so great.

I would love to see it go faster but I also kinda enjoy it this slow because since automated sometimes I would like to stop it before it plays again which works out for me when its slower. Also on affiliate page I see that I can create my own link which is cool and all but is there a place where we can get some graphics ?

I am considering putting up couple of banners here and there that I found with good views and clicks with low amount but I couldn't find proper banners provided, that would help me out so much.
