I am assuming if one uses 2FA then they shouldn't get their BTC stolen if they download a fake extension which forwards their user, password and 2FA to a hacker correct?

Been a while since I've attempted a withdraw on PD but don't they require a different 2FA code from the sign-in 2FA code? Basically you can't use the same 2FA code twice, needs to roll to the next code.

So if someone leaks their username, password and 2FA, the thief can maybe gamble it all away out of frustration since they can't actually withdraw the BTC.

We have seen a huge amount of people trying to abuse the trust of others through downloading rogue chrome extensions or even just socially engineering details from telegram. Our recent addition to security was the vault and hopefully this helps protect our players form such blunders xD

I don't feel pain for the victims anyway, after all, they are trying to use some magical app/add on to get profit. Cheater cheated.

Yes, people have been stealing user account info this way for years. Its usually with some useless browser add-ons or some "fake" bot that promises 100% profits while it just wants your API info so it can withdraw the victims BTC. I remember all over Youtube there was always some video like "Turbo bot for Primedice made $10,000 in 5 mins" and its usually some fake video, with comments disabled trying to trick some individual to download it and put in their credentials. And these thieves got away with it because it took Youtube too long to flag the video.

I don't know if you heard but apparently the open-source Bitpay Copay wallet had some vulnerability discovered today and many wallets were affected. Hence the reason why its never a good idea to trust any type of software, even if its open source. If you need to trust it, you should at least cold storage your coins and it makes it very difficult for theft that way.

Yup, although a pretty good reminder for everyone to be careful. That program will steal everyones saved passwords in their browser.

With the decreasing of bitcoin price, there will be more gambler out there that want to try some of their luck here whether winning or losing will both benefit for them. If you are losing, you will not lose that much because the price currently is still on down trend. On the winning trend, you will not get that much either but surely the price will going to rise soon

Ye, you're right on that one and that's why Primedice is not considered scam from those who know they can count on us to get their funds / profits

Actually the main reason is that lately most of the biggest highrollers are deciding to play anonymously so we eather have to show their username on leaderboard which defeats the purpose or we can show inaccurate leaderboard without them.

So we decided its better to not have leaderboard anymore. If we find better ways to implement it we will bring that back.

Although market price is being steep nowadays, big whale keeps being coming out from nowhere and made this huge bet as always. And as usual, primedice always has this bankroll to support this team.
