The age old adage with dice sites to "check your bets" is out the fucking window as long as this bug is around.
Found another missing nonce further down my bet list that's still visible.
How recently did this occur? Also it's important to note that a nonce will and can ONLY increase if a bet is placed, so it simply wasn't logging client side early today for some users when the site had gateway errors and then server downtime. Your balance should have still been effected by every bet placed though and the bets certainly do exist a nonce can't be arbitrarily skipped.
This seems to happen occasionally right before there is server downtime (people not on the site cannot enter.)
Edit: I spoke with our developer and he made some changes to our struggling bet storage system which should prevent these types of display glitches. Rest assured though that there was no skipping or manipulation, this was essentially a front-end issue.
Right before I made that reply is when it was happening, and has also been happening to a good chunk of others from what I've seen. I didn't mean to give the impression that I think it's skipping the nonce. I'm aware that the bet is going through and is just a front-end issue, but god damn is that front end issue annoying. Especially when I don't always pay attention to my balance and have no idea if I just lost another .01 bet or won it.
Those devs should be racking their brains figuring out how to make the system more efficient, especially with the insane amount of bets being thrown at it every day. Every week or two it's some new issue that rears its head and we get the now standard "Well, it's another sockets issue, should hopefully be fixed now!" response. How many times have you had to say that over the past year?
