ok "thank" you all for those answers. But I got another issue with Bitcoins.. I transfered money to a Bitcoin address, but two days later, the address was empty...?! Blockchain: https://blockchain.info/address/1MpMSn5KyUTrR6kUHDHoin4fyQAy6xJNHz

Hmm. Seems that you also don't have the control on this wallet. Why did you send that amount to that address in the first place?

He say's "darknet" so i would not ask why as chances are we don't really want to know.

The story seems to change a lot.  If it's in a site you cannot access or a address that sent coin's to someone it is gone.   I hope you did not lose much even though your usage is not what we want bitcoin tied to.

What you say does not make much sense because you leave out most information.

What do you mean by "I transfered money to a Bitcoin address"? Did you transfer bitcoins from your own wallet, or did you use an exchange to transfer some other kind of money?

Is that address yours or did you transfer to someone else?
  • If it was someone else's address, why do you care whether it is empty now? It's the receiver's business, not yours.
  • If it was your address:
    • does it belong to a wallet from which you sent something later? Then it is pretty normal that your payment goes to the destination, and the residue goes to a change address in your wallet. Learn about change handling in bitcoin transactions.
    • does it belong to an online wallet or some other external entity which stores your bitcoins not in a single address but just as a number in a database?

Is that your own wallet which you control? If you have a client like Bitcoin core, Multibit or online wallets like Blockchain.info or blocktrail, you must have been hacked if you hasn't initiate any transaction. However, if you sent it to a wallet like coinbase.com or exchange like bitstamp, then your coins would be transferred to the hot wallet and you would have been credited on the website. Would you mind to tell us where did you get the address from?

Well if you haven't got the privkey the moment you created your wallet, then be in doubt. The first thing that you'll get when creating an address is the privkey--unless you've made a wallet from a third party site.

NINJA EDIT: seems that you used a wallet from a third party site and you've performed a tx in the deep web. There had been an issue regarding the security of coins when you used tor.

Rather expensive lesson but this should have taught you not to trust third party for holding on your coins. Your BTC should preferably be in your control at all times, the risk of you losing BTC due to a online exchange shutdown would be virtually zero.

There are some third parties that facilitate transactions by providing wallets without taking over the control of the wallet. Like this one at https://www.blocktrail.com

you can see your private key when you own your wallet
but in your case, looks like your wallet it's not yours, maybe it's exchange own or something
so technically you can't have private key

use a local wallet instead, i find them more secure, i can't understand why some people still use online wallet, like website to store their btc, you should store your btc online only for trading

Ok, I remembered my password for Agora but there is nothing, so it´s at Silkroad, another Darknet site, but Silkroad is down. So I have no chance to get the BTC`s back..? I got no private key when creating it on Silkroad.

If it was on Silk Road, they are pretty much gone.

Silk Road was taken down by government and the owner is going to get a life sentence most likely.
The Bitcoins on Silk Road were seized by government and they are being auctioned to public. you may get them back by taking part in the auction though Tongue

I will not ask why you used darknet as I don't really want to know.  But yes you have lost it.

In future use a well known wallet (I suggest you look into cold wallet or paper wallets).  I hope you didn't lose much.

On the Agora Marketplace in the Darknet.

Does the TXID help me in any way?

You will need their help.  As said a "darknet" is not really the place to store or trust.   You should have used a place that you could do a paper wallet or at least a well known walllet.

With what you mention you are at their mercy if they give you access again.

Agora Marketplace holds your bitcoins. The only way to recover them is by regaining access to your account.
Good luck in that :/, and as someone mentioned here, you should read more about bitcoin first.

Sounds like you should have done some reading first.
Darknet, of all possible places? Roll Eyes

I don't know anything about the Agora Marketplace, but if you forget your password to an account where valuable stuff is stored, you're not doing it right. Consider your coins lost. You bought some expensive lesson with them.

Onkel Paul

Have to agree with Paul. If you don't have a password then you don't have bitcoins. You may want to consider staying away from those dark sites anyway. They are mostly for stealing your money and if you think you are not being watched, you have some reading about exit nodes to do.
