Using Ethereum platform for a successful gaming project contributes to an increase in the capitalization and cost of Ethereum. This is good news, not only for Ethereum, but also for the entire cryptocurrency market.

Do this game had a mobile application?
Sounds interesting and can't wait to try this one, hope the network won't clogged up due to thousands of users accessing the game at the same time.

No, it has no mobile app at the moment, but they may release one if Battle Royale is successful since that's what they are best at, mobile games.

Matrix Built On An Ethereum Smart Contract
Games built on the blockchain have not been a success. They tend to be neither fun or lucrative. If you want people to play they either need to be a good way to make money or a lot of fun to play. So far I have not found one that meets either of those conditions. I have some ETH Town Heroes so I will give this new game a try but I am not all that optimistic.

The pretty interesting game that will be displayed, this will definitely be an amazing game project and provide the opportunity for the team to be able to further develop it.  A mature plan will bring maximum results so that success will be achieved.

Yes, they did very well with the first one so I can't wait to join the beta for Battle Royale. They've put a lot of effort into it and you can see that right from the first glance at their website.

I have not heard anything about this game, but it seems very interesting. I have already seen games like this, for example, cryptokitties or something like that. I think this is very entertaining and helps to understand the system.

Give it a chance and hop on that Discord, there's plenty to explore  Grin

It's nice to see blockchain games transitioning to games that the majority of people might be interested in playing instead of solely crypto enthusiasts. I still think it will be a big struggle to get people to transition away from their traditional gaming. Will the game be free to play or will there be costs involved? If it's not free that will be another thing that I feel will hold it back.

Sadly, none of the blockchain games is free at the moment because of the gas fees which are always present. Right now these games appeal to crypto enthusiasts and those who like to play with money, but that's still a pretty big community and there are so many of them who haven't tried a single game just because they were all about gambling. Battle Royale changes that and promises to add actual gameplay and strategy to the game, so we'll see how that turns out. I don't think this will hold that many people back because people love the idea of being able to earn money from playing games.

Right, but this game will be free to play because there will be no gas fees involved? Or will there be other costs. I think the lure of paying to play but having earning potential only applies to so many people. If it's one of those games whereby whoever spends the most has an advantage then that will discourage many people, unfortunately that's a majority of online games nowadays.

I agree that the model is flawed, but that's the main attraction of "crypto games" at the moment, the fact that you can earn money by playing. Now, of course, the money you win has to come from somewhere so it is obvious that you'll also have to spend money first in order to have a chance to win more. There are a couple of games that do not follow this pattern, but most of them don't get too far. The thing is, this model works at the moment and this is what most of the community wants, more opportunities to earn money. The difference with Battle Royale is that they are actually adding gameplay to this model, which is something new and worked out pretty well with the Crypto Tower(the game lasted for liked 3 weeks and had a volume of over 10k ETH). As for the advantage for "whoever spends most", sure, that's true, but only if they spend it right. Even "whales" can make mistakes and lose all their money, and since there will be four teams, new players always have a chance.

Fair enough, thank you for the breakdown. I think i'll watch this from the outside and see how it all unfolds. Anything that brings utility to a cryptocurrency has to be a big positive. I wonder how regulators feel about this effectively being unregulated gambling.

Battle Royale is a first-ever blockchain game, which is not a collectible game or game of chance. It’s a massively multiplayer one! Four teams will fight in a shared arena, fight capturing opponents’ bases, and earning Ether when succeeding at that.

Skeletons, knights, witches, and goblins. Such different races, but what do they have in common? It’s the desire to grab the single massive jackpot!

Simple and straightforward rules guide the game. And the fact that the game uses a Loom powered sidechain ensures that all heavy calculations stay on a sidechain: no Ethereum gas fees!

The first ETH.Town game had a volume of over 10k ETH and set new precedents when it comes to crypto gaming. This is a really important thing to note considering that Battle Royale will be way bigger than the Tower and will once again set new precedents in this space.

It is also worth mentioning that behind this project is a real team of developers with a lot of experience in mobile games, all of their projects looks amazing, worth checking them out.

Early bird access: owners of ETH.TOWN heroes (higher level = higher priority) will be able to buy barracks at the lowest price. Late November or December. Game launch in December, so get in among the first in order to reap all the benefits: https://eth.town/br/register

This is the very great news that you have shared and if seriously speaking that I feel very happy whenever any crypto currency progress because crypto has given me a lot, it has made me self dependent and now I need not to rely on my parents for very small things and I can very proudly say that I am now self dependent because of crypto and this would be very good option to earn crypto by playing games and this would surely be the biggest real game launch that would enable the gamer to earn etherum after each win .

Is it connected with eth town devs or your project is separate from thos guys?
Blockchain based games are on demand these days.

This is not my project, it is theirs, the developers of ETH.Town, I am merely promoting it. And yes, they truly are in demand, that's why I hope this one will move things to the next level.

0,05 ETH just to register in the game which has not even launched? That's not the good way to start the things running...After all this trash in the crypto gaming industry there hardly ever be a lot of players willing to pay for another pig in a poke.

You misunderstood, that fee is for name registration if you want to refer people before the game launches. You don't have to pay any fee in order to play the game, but you will have to spend Ethereum since that's what it is played with.

Looks quite similar to another ethereum based game called SKARA. Not trying to put people off but some tried to invest in it and lost basically all their investment. Got dumped on mercatox and never recovered. This one might be better though

Doesn't look that similar to me, have read the mechanics on the website: https://eth.town/br/register? Also, this is something coming from a real studio(they have a long history in making beautiful mobile games) and it is already the second blockchain project, you can check the first one here: https://eth.town/floors

Ako Bayot!
History is always strikingly similar. In addition to character design and gameplay, this game is almost the same as the game I met before! I believe everyone has heard of it! FOMO 3D
Yes, similarity always could be seen in every game because the owners of the graphics being designed are even anonymous or there is a question about owning characters that is in every game therefore others could easily copied and just change some of its features. The characters shown above were taken from familiar games like dota, dota 2, clash of clans.
