The recent hour of downtime was due to a problem with the forum's anti-DDoS provider x4b.net. They've been consistently having minor problems since the start, and this extended outage really sucks, so I'm going to start shopping around for alternatives. Though apparently it's pretty rare for DDoS protection services to offer GRE tunnels at any even vaguely reasonable price.

Thank you for you clarification, good to know that it wasn't anything serious.

Forum just got hacked again?

Nothing in the twitter account about it. Or in Meta. But I also couldn't access the forum for about an hour.

I've been having some issues with accessing the forums or completing certain tasks like sending out PM's the last couple days. Although I haven't received any errors like that, the site usually just times out for me. I assume it's just my crappy Canadian ISP acting up again though as it seems fine now.

Weird, because I'm only experiencing this error on bitcointalk!  I am receiving no errors whatsoever on any other website.  Yes, I am using chrome.  My wifi was always working when loading any other website, how come this problem is ONLY showing up for bitcointalk.org? Huh
I have no idea, sorry.

Currently happening on and off for me, for the past hour or so.

Unable to access the network

ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED

Should we be worried?
I'm assuming you're using Chrome as that is a Chrome error. It's on your side and means that your network, well, changed. Could be that your WiFi disconnected for a short period of time, that your WiFi was busy connecting to a network, that the LAN cable came loose and reconnect, etc. This has nothing to do with the forum though.

some minute ago i get eror 500 what happen with bitcointalk ?
A 500 error usually means something went wrong on the server, however, it can also happen if the webserver isn't fast enough to serve something to you (if I'm not mistaken). Anyway, no need to worry about it. Wink
