@ OP ~ Honestly, I got confused of what you've said because of your wrong grammar but don't worry I still got your point somehow. So you are telling us that ico-russia701 is selling btctalk accounts then you refused and now warned us to avoid dealing with stuffs like that? Am I right? (I guess so Grin) Well, that was a good move because you are honest and not even tempted to do illegal things here. You are a role model despite having a low rank and i just hope that others do the same way Smiley

What a silly offer Roll Eyes I bet that even a desperate one will not buy because there's no sense of buying Legendary account with red trust. With red trust, you can't join sig campaigns and bounty campaigns; so how the ROI happens assuming that someone bought it? Nah, nevermind Roll Eyes.

Shocked  Wow, it didn't take long for me to join the ranks of the skeptical cynics.
I don't know if it was you I told, but I recently said if you hang around here long enough you'll get that jaded eye.  I think most new users come here assuming the best about people, but this particular forum will smash that damn quick.  The irreversible nature of bitcoin transactions--along with people's general unwillingness to report scams--makes crypto (and bitcointalk) a mecca for dishonest individuals.  People think I'm a noob-hating asshole, and that older members tend to bully newer ones, but after being here a while you start to see patterns and adjust your worldview and words accordingly.

I also often say that anything that can be abused here will be, and any rule that is made, loopholes for which will be exploited en masse--usually by noobs.  Always keep that in mind as well.

Now a days merit gets very difficulty in cripto currency Bitcoin forum. If any one get merit then he will gone up ranking position, I need merit to change my position but I do not know how can I get it , position really problem with merit.

One of the issues I've noticed with the Merit system is that it tends to favor those who are native English speakers, but that's to be expected since this is an America forum.  I imagine that the local boards have merit sources, so if you are helpful in your language you are likely to accumulate Merit that way.

The main issue I've notice with the Merit system isn't the Merit system itself, but people's expectations.  Some people seem to believe that this forum is here to provide them with an income.  Somehow they feel entitled to have their rank promoted so their income can increase.  This is a false assumption.  This forum is intended for discussion of a specific topic, and topics that relate.

I've only been here a short time, but I can see how the forum has evolved into the SPAMFEST it is today.  There are a lot of eyeballs here, and that makes it ripe for advertising.  But if you keep in mind that is not why this forum is here, and you remain courteous and helpful to those seeking help, you will be rewarded with Merit.

It's a REWARD, not an entitlement.

I personally feel that after the merit system was introduced, most of the sellers are doing fake listings only. Why will sell a Sr member account or higher for $100 or so after doing all the hard work to get so many merits. That much can be earned in 1-2 weeks with a good signature campaign with such a account.

Probably a scam. They say they will sell the account, but they usually ask for the money in advance (suspicious). Besides, we actually don`t know how many accounts they have. If they have a good number of them, probably it is still profitable.
Anyway, to be involved in an account-transaction, usually end badly.

This account is already tagged so I think no need to create more topic about this account anymore  Grin

You just need to ignore this member to avoid being annoyed by this member again Grin

But I think why don't you ask him to give you profile link of accounts are being sold or PM from sale account to report all of them at one time Smiley)

You think that the seller would fall into that trap ?

Actually now as the forum became more than just the title of the forum. After the introduction of the system of merit, many have given up and are trying to simply buy accounts for the successful conduct of bounty in the company's signature

There pay good money and many are ready to give 200-300 dollars to get an account with the highest rank. Don't get fooled by it don't develop corruption on the forum, it was created not for scammers but for important news and communication of people connected by a single thought.

How did this shmuck get merited for this post?
I guess it was a reward for the "honesty" of declining the offer of buying an account/merits.

Declining the offer to buy an account from his alt?

There are even some websites where you can purchase an account... Huh

And they have 24/7 support!!! Watch this: http://www.btctalk.trade/

And, also, they are "build by hard work"!!!

Anyway, stay as far as you can from this specimens, ignore him since he has already been red-tagged (and should be banned), and that's all.
The accounts/merits market is huge on the underground, and it will still be this way, since the people is too lazy to come in here and build a reputation.

Wow you would have to spend a lot if you want to jump from one level to another it's like shelling out hundreds or even thousands of dollars, it becomes a good business for those who have merits to give, I hope members with merits to give will not fall to this.

I suppose those who were using bots in early days and/or had multiple accounts in these forums are being rewarded huh? Even if only a few users buy from them the accounts, they are rewarded.
That's why I used to "spam" about seperating the old rank with the new merit system, giving free merit to spammers just because they registered a few months before the new system is stupid, but it's been a long time now and I've stopped hopping for an update on the system.
Agreed with both hands. I think we should highlight those "Airdrop Merits" and "Earned Merits" separately with the members rank. I think it is OK to give free merits for the members who actively contributes to the forum since its beginning. "Theymose" shouldn't giving away free license to the members who have done nothing to the betterment of forum but just registered few months before the new system implementation with so many alts only for bounty or signature campaigns. I have seen that once a good member is always a good member whether Merits or without Merits. If we implement those changes to the Merit display, it is easy to identify and who are the truly ranked members but not the net rats.

I`m afraid merit is going to become the next coin into this forum. There are a lot of people trading them, and they are going to increase or decrease it`s value. Just one question: are merit based on the blockchain tech? Perhaps merit truly become the next criptocoin in here...

Ye, it should be an ERC20 token! Cheesy

I ran an OCR tool and *tried* to Google Translate the message. Looks like the user is selling accounts.

write constructive  and usuful post ,
There's that phrase again.

How did this shmuck get merited for this post?  It's completely worthless in ANY language, much less in English that you can barely understand.  I don't even know how KeithBeeCham replied to it, because it's complete gobbledegookery to me.  He must have very strong prescription glasses.

If DT finds him. They will be trash him mate.
Actmyname already found him, and I just did a touch-up job on the red paint.

That may be what he's asking for merits, but is anyone actually paying that much?  I'm genuinely wondering about this.
