The spreadcoin is not dead with some active development. Masternodes, coinmixing etc. Perhaps worth to put a few rigs and wait for the pump.. Or just buy some of the exchanges...

How many spr coins can you get with 7.7MH/s, daily? In btc?

With 7.7MHASH you get around 4,235$ a day with the current difficulty.

Not anymore Smiley the price has fallen 18% on a 0.5 BTC volume.

I was about to correct you but you edited it. It's more like $3.08 now.

Anyway, anytime people mention SPR (or any other small coin) they're no longer very profitable to mine.

Him guys. I'm creating my first rig, and I have a problem with connecting 6th GPU. 5 cards works fine, but 6th card don't want to.

My setup:
MB: Asrock H97 Anniversary
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2, 80+ GOLD
OS: Win10
GPU: Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1070 x 6
NVidia Software: 368.81

Can s/o tell me what I can do to see 6th card?

FWIW, I was having exactly the same problem, with a similar setup (6x GTX 970's).  5 cards was fine - the 6th card would cause it not to boot and I'd have to reset the BIOS to get it going again.  I got it working by making sure that the internal graphics adapter is set to prefer PCI, and you plug your monitor into whichever card you plug into the 16x slot.  Once I did that, 6 cards has been working smoothly since.

Hope that helps!

it must be said that spreadcoin is a very small coin, low nethash, if you mine it with plenty of gpu you will only kill your profit, unless all the other leave the scene, and i doubt this will happen

Very likely it's the MB.

On a sidenote, G1 1070's can and will pull 200W at the wall for some algos so 1200W for the cards and about 70W for the other components I think is really pushing it - even for a top PSU like the SuperNOVA G2 1300W.

i just limit the tdp to avoid them pulling that much, for spreadcoin for example the peak is very high, my rm1000i shut down and restart because of that

I don't mine SPR with 1070's, they don't scale well for me (6.7 Mh/s vs 4.68 for 970) and I also only had 83% power usage on average with SPR while LBRY and SIA would go above 100% if I let them.

they can do 8MH use -x 30 with +100 on the core, but consumption is higher around 180w, actually very unstable it vary from 150w to 200w

TIL... thanks.

I generally don't push the intensity much on X algos because they don't like it very much but yeah, I can get 7.7 with +50 Mhz.
If I use something like +80 Mhz my 1070 rig crashes eventually and i haven't had much time to troubleshoot that issue or to find sweetspots.

But what I did notice is how much the 1070's power usage oscillates both in software and at the wall while the GPU usage is 99-100%.

Not a big fan of that and I can't wait to be able to tweak the BIOS and possibly disable boost.

yeah i don't like the fb usage at all, the code need optimization, sp said that he is working on it in recent posts

I doubt the oscillation is a miner issue because it does it all the time with everything Nonetheless, optimizations would be nice.

I suspect the new GPU boost is the culprit.

when i mine lbry it's much more stable, i noticed that behaviour on some algo, but not on all of them, neoscrypt is another one, seems those heavy algo only

Also I don't try it, but what if I'll disable integrated video, sound, USB3.1, SATAExpress in BIOS, how do you think, do I have a chance?

And if it can help, can you tell me all the things, that I can safely disable in BIOS?

With Claymores miner release melting cables are now available to nvidia miners too. If you are running two cards all-in from one psu outlet remember to keep an eye on cable/ connector temps.
