I DID rate them, but why have 3 people given negative ratings and yet the tally shows neutral ratings?

I'm going to bump this just to remind everyone to stay clear of this website. If you have coins with them I would move them ASAP.

I was able to get in just now and transfer all my coins to a local wallet.  Whew, that was scary.

Problem with mybitcoin is that they have no password recovery mechanism.

You can also look at that as a security feature

What is that site? Why is it so special?

It's nothing yet really, it could be useful some day however.

I'm leaving bad feedback in 48 hours if they don't reset my password and release my BTC. I urge anyone who has had positive or negative experience with them to leave feedback here:

I was able to get in a few days ago, but now I'm locked out too!  This is troubling.  I was using a 16-character random password that was different from my Mt. Gox password.  I had a non-trivial amount of coins there.  Sad

Same here. I have sent Mr Williams emails and messages. No response. I asked Bruce Wagner to stop promoting mybitcoin on his bitcoinme site and it seems he will. I just don't get why people fuck up like this.

No problem here, but were you using the same username as on MtGox?

Also, I noticed that both fields are now asterisks like they'd be password masked. Anyone got a clue about this?

Yeah, it sucks. Causes my password manager to not recognize it. Need to lookup the password every time and fill it in manually. I hope they will fix this.

It's working fine for me.  No problems logging in, and no change in my balance.

Is anyone else having problems accessing their MyBitcoin account? My username/password are being rejected and I haven't changed them and I'm sure the account hasn't been hacked. Also, I noticed that both fields are now asterisks like they'd be password masked. Anyone got a clue about this?

Thanks!

Yes, I am having the same problem. i sent them a couple emails with no response whatsoever. Fortunately I had very little in my account, but this is not a confidence-building experience.
