I am not a 'sir', but thank you for your reply. I am actually convinced. I'm not a native English speaker, so that connotation of 'smiting' was not known to me. I encountered another 'Family Guy' moderator who was similarly patient in his explanation. Such moderators are true assets for this forum. Unlike some others whose names I'll leave unmentioned. It restores a little bit of trust in this forum. So thank you.

Well, the Oxford dictionary gives quite different definitions of 'smite (v.)', all related to inflicting blows and never related to impressing favorably.

In the context of the wide abuse of the trust system on this forum by the green elite I find your explanation not very reassuring and your signature still worrying.

Well sir, dictionary.com lists smite as to impress favorably; charm; enamor:   Example:  (They were smitten by Vod's godlike charms)

Here is a snapshot of just over two hours this morning - 7 prayer messages asking me to do various things - and not one has ever donated.  :/  I'm simply letting people know my time is not free.

Believe it or not, the ones with subject "hi" and "Re: hi" came in from two different accounts.  The shitposter had sent me an apology prayer message, and carbon copied his other account, which then replied to me with the exact same apology message - word for word.

No, but I can understand why you would read it that way.  The definition of smite is "to impress favorably; charm; enamor".

I get a lot of Prayer Messages from people asking me to help them get their account unlocked, or to investigate someone, or to read a long thread and react to it.

Everyone expects me to do this work for free.

I have obviously never taken payment to remove negative trust.  Smiley

Another thing. Your signature just caught my eye.

I'm into creating universes, smiting people, writing holy books and listening to Prayer Messages (PMs).
I will ignore your Prayer Messages unless you donate to 1CDyx8AUTiYXS1ThcBU3vy4SJWQq6pdFMH

What I read from that is that you like to give people negative trust (smiting people), which you will (only) remove again when the requestor pays you. Is that a correct interpretation?

I already knew that before anyone told me. And it's not that I'm in favoure of low quality posts. I'm simply against all forms of abuse. Including the abuse of the possiblity to earn a few coins by (low quality) posting as also the abuse of the ability to tag other users with negative trust.

You need to convince a DT1 member to not sponsor anyone who has a paid signature.

Congratulations. You just discovered that the trust system is abused to the bone in this forum. Looking at it from the sunny side; you were tagged as a newbie. So you didn't put much time and energy into that profile yet. You can easily start again with a new profile and a clean sheet. Just remember to try to give you posts a little bit of content and never mention that you also used to have another account. That will give you red trust. Even from those who do exactly the same thing.

Moderators now are all strict. Its a lesson for everyone, why this newbies keep posting instead of reading.
This has nothing to do with moderators. The OP was given negative trust. Trust is not moderated and a DT member can give negative trust if it is required and if it has something to do that goes against the "trustworthiness" of the person. Learn how the trust system works before you comment.

Maybe your post is not helpful from that topic its one of the rules in this forum. I understand you mate but you've done wrong. There is so many professionals here, they're only doing this for the greater good of this forum.
You need to look into the reason why the OP got negative trust. It was not because of posting off-topic but shitposting. That is posting one-liners to increase their post count - in this case.

Hello
sorry for my English
I heard for this forum half a year ago and now just started to participate here, but since I'm new I do not know much, now I understand the meaning of the forum and the flood more and how to act and how it is impossible.I'm corrected believe me. And for this I ask you to remove the negative rating

If you cannot write English, do not post in the English forums!   Angry

If you came here not understanding what this forum was for, you did not come here for the forum - you came here for money.

I don't trust people like you, and I don't care if you are corrected - you do not have this community in mind.

You're just a drunk at a wedding, wandering from table to table, asking to borrow money, interrupting conversations, smelling of smoke.

Warning: Trade with extreme caution!
that's what I discovered today. I would like to know from the moderators what is the matter, which I rightly violated?

Yes mate you can message the moderator to know what happen why you received that negative trust. But i am sure you did some violation that is why they put that trust on your account.

Just read the reputation put by moderator and avoid that in the future and hoping that you will not encounter this again, i know it is possible to remove that trust by requesting to the mod who wrote that in your account just try it man.

And after that mate just improve your post because that is the specific accusation in your account.
Vod isn't a moderator and that will be useless to ask moderator why he received negative trust for his own fault.
The one who gave him negative trust is Vod, one of DT-2 member. How could you don't know about this?
And why would you ask him? He did left a description of the reason behind the negative trust which is "shitposter." You can simply click the "trust" which will bring you to the page where you can read the feedbacks given to you and those you give to other users.

Seriously, people need to educate themselves.

Please post things that are actually contributing to the company, not only just to boost your morale and activity. See that's why Vod tagged you.

Dude just look at your posts. All I did was clicked on the reference link that Vod provided and got enough support of his claim for not trusting you.

Your posts are mainly oneliners which have no constructive contribution to the discussion but used to spam the forum. You are probably the lowest level of shitposters in the forum. Some shitposters even write or try to write one or two lines. But you are next level to that.

Try to build up your post quality and post constructive posts and then maybe appeal to Vod about it. But I doubt if he will remove it.

First of all, trust is unmoderated.

You can't complain to a moderator about your trust since it is entirely based on opinions. Trust is a subjective thing.

Secondly, Vod has tagged you for posting extremely short posts for no reason at all, mostly in off topic. I think that the label shitposter is definitely suitable for your case here and you deserve this neg.

However, if you change your behavior, then you may ask Vod to remove your rating after a month or two.

The trust or in other words reputation system on here is just like on any other community used when to deal or not deal with a certain person. I recommend posting more in other sections and increasing your post quality to resolve your reputation to a more positive standing. However from my exp I think positive reputation is handed out very rarely. To keep those ratings very valuable and worthwhile to have.

I'm glad someone on DT is finally tagging people for being shitposters, which is, in my opinion, the best way to keep them out of signature campaigns--most campaigns have it stated in their rules that they won't accept anyone with negative trust from DT2 members or higher.  And I definitely think Vod can judge someone who's shitposting.  There are people on this forum who are very obviously not interested in any discourse.  They just want to do the minimum amount of work, and they employ alt accounts and abuse campaigns left and right.  Good job, Vod.
