Airdrops aren't usually worth the bother. But sometimes they are.
I'm incredibly enthusiastic about ONION. Never seen a crypto that potentially offers so much, using AirDrop as the means of distribution. They could do an ICO, raising millions as so many of them do, with little more than a fancy whitepaper.
Even now I could sell my ONIONS for a nice lill profit for almost nothing - posting on the forum as I would anyway. Not that I would think of selling now.
The potential of this thing is huge!

Airdrop is a good profit because its free whatever the price of it even $1. Sometimes it has a very low price tha $1 but first it is free so the thing you can do is hold like the some coins now that are starting from an Airdrop but now tge price is very worth in a matter of years . The profit of a person doesn't need for you to know because you can join in an airdrops for a try. For example when the coin is introduced on exchanges i guess the profit can be very good?

I love Airdrops. After airdrop i hold coins. do not dump them immediately. So if coins turns to trash i don't worry. But if it rise then i sell them for good price.
Usually, worthless projects/coins make airdrops so to make profit from those coins, you should wait at least 1 year.
so what? it costs you nothing to receive and to hold something for a year. either you will be positively surprised or nothing will happen, and thats it

The most recent airdrop i got is from coeval (monkey capital). The dev gave 1 coeval to every user that hold coeval before 25th june. That's $300 at that time so I'm quite lucky.
One of the very good profits one could have made from an airdrop would be from Decred. At the time the airdrop was made, one would have won 1BTC, and I can not even imagine how high that would be at today's value. How sad I am that I have not participated.

It's basically a profit in any way you look at it and on how much profit you gain it actually depends on how much you get.
if you follow airdrop it always profit, air drop means you got the coin for free, if the coin worthless you did not lose anything, and if the coin has a value, you got profit,

Airdrops are free so technically you already gained money from nothingness and even profitted from it if you waited before selling your cojns to a price which is higher than you are expecting. I think it shouldn't be called profit tho since you didn't spend a single cent in it. It's a free money. For example when the coin is introduced on exchanges i guess the profit can be very good?

Most of airdrops are shitcoin which has 1 satoshi as their value, But i ever joined in a airdrop, unfortuenatelly i forgot the name. They were given 1millions coin and each person got 30k coins, and if each of those people still holding that coin until now, they will get 0.49 BTC
I always try the coins which is distributed in yobit so that I dont need to think about platform fees and other stuff it always gives better than faucet earned by recently I got airdrop 9 kilo developed using waves plarform.
Those coins in yobit are not airdrop.There are donations and almost every coins is shit dead coin and most of those free coins have value of 1coin=1 satoshi.

You are missing out on free money. There is no reason not to participate in air drops.
If you are worried about security / privacy, there are always safeguards which can be taken.

Yes i do made profits on air drops and you are definitely making money on that one since its just a free coin the question here is that if you can able to make more money out of those free coins. Well,it would really depend on a certain coin if it does have the potential just like on BYTE coin they do have air drops same as been said by other member.This is already an advantage since you can make money out of those free coins in the air.
