Fivestar....
It's actually a nice idea trying to convince someone who doesn't even have any fore-knowledge 'bout the forum.. yunno that's gonna be a bit turgid as every effort you'd put it, just to let 'em know it ain't a scammy site ..and that it's the nearest possible platform which you could acquire any information about crypto, as Long as we have diverse sections to express ourselves and get their inquisitive minds, lusty for thirst and unnecessary fault-finding --filled up satisfactorily.
It's good that you made 'em request publicized; so anyone could Just pick an interest on that.... But is that the least possible way to convince someone out there? What If they ain't cool themselves? I'd believe that I wasn't dragged in here by some kinda, sophisticated bypass technique... What's meant to be, will be.

Sandra always put extra efforts to read through your comments, before posting them to avoid multiple typo errors such as in the above comments, some times our devices keyboard make changes to the characters we typed without our knowing, and beside that it is more healthy to at least read your writing once again and make necessary correction before posting them.

they went to the bounty section to spend the remainder of their days  Wink
I don't see anything wrong to go on bounty section and spend the days as long as they are doing something meaningful. Few months ago there was a user made a post and everyone discovered he is actually producing a lot of quality contents in altcoin boards. He was appreciated by merits from a lot of users.

Not that it's wrong, and I don't see anything wrong with it as long as the user is doing something honest with his time there, but as we all know, it's a board known for spam, and those who spend a lot of time there stay a newbie for a longer period of time. Some of the bounty managers are doing an excellent job over there; it is not easy to select a few decent posters among hundreds of spammers. There are still some good posters on the altcoin and trading discussion boards, but the spam outnumbers the good posts.

Both are whitelisted.
Why would a random user will even consider paying for some new accounts too although I see it's a kind step. It was not necessary. These accounts may turn into great spammers and you will find yourself regretting for it.
Nothing is guaranteed, so we must wait and see how these users fare, but what Little Mouse did is commendable; there were a few users who fared well like n0nce and some who were whitelisted and they went to the bounty section to spend the remainder of their days  Wink

You already did your part by introducing them to this forum. If they are serious enough about crypto, they will pay the fees for unban. So leave this decision to them.

The OP already explained that he was accused by his friends because of the evil fees they requested them to pay being his reason for creating this thread. I think he did the best thing by seeking solutions here instead of leaving them halfway since their aim is to become members of a forum where things about cryptocurrency are discussed and their refusal to pay the fees does not mean they aren't serious about what they intend to know being cryptocurrency, so I think the op did the right thing and the problem has been solved.

There is a button at the bottom of each account called Whitelist. By clicking on it, the user will be added to that list and he can post freely without any spam restrictions.
I never seen any option from my account but seeing your response I was considering it's only visible for the accounts that have the ban applied. So I was looking for accounts even not having any tools of how to look for them. After spending a good half an hour when I failed to find any, then I saw the response from the Bot. A totally waste of time 🤣

Thank you so much every one and special thank you to you @Little Mouse for that really kind gesture, I very much appreciate you and every other users here for all the comments and suggestions..
I've taken note of all that needs to be taken note of incase of next time..
I've also informed both of them that their respective accounts are now whitelisted, hopefully, they get to post a thank you message here before I lock the thread.

Sandra How do you write nearly 200 words with such assurance without making a single sense? or offer any help to the OP, and since this is not a Rap forum, you should write professionally if you want your words to be taken seriously. What's the point of all this?
Lol, I really thought I was the only one that was unable to make any sense out of all he said, which is why I didn't comment on it when I read it.

@Sandra_hakeem, No offence mate, i am just being honest, you might be very educated, very good with vocabularies and want to show it, but learn to use it with some limits, using too much of vocabularies in a sentence renders everything you say senseless to an average English man.
Am sorry but like i said, no offence at all.

I didn't get that straight; did you come here to taunt me or what? You never understood the little - hidden point in there so how's that my fault?? Okay, I see how helpful your post were....it really did helped alot  Tongue

one of the reason theymos selected few members to whitelist such users.
I'm I supposed to be amongst the selected people, to whitelist other users? No? Then what did expect from me? I only told him my overview and that's prolly what every user had taken; tbh, I have heard of users getting whitelisted to bypass 'em proxy bans but I'm seeing a post like this (putting up a request) for the first time.... What do you mean by "writing professionally"? You just mixed up the whole point and it looks messy.
Hey Igehh, make sure you learn-up on how to use words -- words that'll fit in properly in whatever description you're making... avoid such irrelevancies next time; a type that's spearheaded with hostility.
Peace ✌️

For next time, post in this topic:
2. Get someone to vouch for you
I know several personal examples of people who I invited to join bitcointalk forum and they couldn't registered because they got evil fee notification and asked to pay with Bitcoin.
If an established member knows you personally, they can post your username in this topic for whitelisting. Don't PM me, keep it public. I won't accept vouches from for instance a bounty hunter with 1000 Activity and 0 earned Merit.
The link to my topic is also shown to proxybanned users in your screenshots.

Long story short, they actually accused me of introducing a scam forum to them  Grin
I've been accused of being a scammer many times, by people who ask to be whitelisted. It's understandable: I don't know of any other forum that asks new users to pay before they can post.

Brighthustle- 1e351bf8227ff95db52f87c88b655704c79a50f6d9a6b693b34ebb05e85c2c6b
Ynca- 75eca33d80b373411306137ed31cc3f7ad2896d4a8a80345585167786f9fb4fa

Both are whitelisted.
Technically, paying to remove the proxyban doesn't whitelist them. Being whitelisted has more perks (such as less time between posts and higher PM-limits).

If they are serious enough about crypto, they will pay the fees for unban.
I consider myself serious about Bitcoin, and I would never pay to join any forum.

How do you do that? I know some users can but I can not remember how it's done LOL

Not everyone begins their forum journey with a large amount of bitcoin in their wallet; some begin with a single cent and little or no knowledge of BTC. one of the reason theymos selected few members to whitelist such users.

Anyone can if they have the address. Just send the required fee to the address mentioned. That's it. You have to do nothing else.

Not everyone knows about the forum. His friends thought it's scam forum which is asking for money for using the forum. I think it's good to let them get in the forum by paying little fees.

Send your friend's username and I will add him to my whitelist.
It's annoying especially if you're a beginner and don't own any bitcoin.

Edit: I added @Brighthustle to my whitelist, he can post freely.

Both are whitelisted.

I didn't notice your comment Grin anyway he can send more PMs now

Can you please post the addresses here? I just had extracted by image to text converter but when I wanted to paste in electrum, it says "Failed to parse text: Address". I would have removed the proxy if you had shared the addresses. You can PM me too.

Aside from what was mentioned above, LoyceV can also whitelist user. Please check this thread - Remove Proxyban (evil fees) - email to get whitelisted for free

From the looks of it, it looks like your "friends" would need to do option #1 since they are unlikely to pay the fees in the first place. Just see the thread I linked for full details.

Just searching for forum whitelisting I found this post/thread. It might be a good place to start - unless an admin just does it before your post is received by them (from this topic).

How do you go about it?
If you're a brand new user to the forum with no previously bannd accounts;
• Send me an email to -
Code:
• You may need to answer a few questions which I would ask randomly,
• Based on your answers, your request could be accepted or rejected.

You could also get a reputable account to vouch for you on this thread.
To add to this, the first names that come to my mind that are able to whitelist users are either LoyceV[1] or hugeblack[2]. IIRC staff members can also whitelist your friends, but as the message you posted states, probably paying the fees is faster. If your friend clicks where it says "here", probably he'll be directed to a list of members that is also able to whitelist users.

HI guys and ladies..,

So yesterday, I was having a chat with some friends who are far away from my current city, something lead to something and we started discussing Bitcoin, though they are active members of the cryptocurrency community but they are not members of this forum, neither have they ever heard of it...
At a point, they asked if there was a place where they can have a general chat or discussions about cryptocurrencies with other members of the community globally, where they could share their knowledge as well as learn from others as well,

Bitcointalk came to my mind immediately, so I introduced the forum to them, they signed up but unfortunately, they both encountered this ProxyBan thing and were asked to pay a fee to be whitelisted.

Long story short, they actually accused me of introducing a scam forum to them  Grin, saying I want to scam them directly or indirectly, to end the argument, i told them to be calm, that i would find a way around the ProxyBan thing.

So I am making this post believing that there are some users whom I believe have the power or authority to whitelist newbies registrants, to enable them start posting without paying the evil fees, at least, my aim is to prove to this two that the forum is not a scam and I didn't intend scamming them in any way.
So any help or suggestions on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
