May I ask how do you setup masternode for somebody without accessing their server, knowing their private keys or holding coins? I don’t mean it in a bad way, just would want to know, as I was setting my first masternode a week ago and it was painful experience 😅

Setupmasternodes.com can guide and teach you over the phone on how to set up a masternode step-by-step.

WE ADVISE: you should NEVER ALLOW anyone access to your server or masternode wallet (with or without Remote view).

There are reports coming in that people will hijack coins when you least expect it.

Author Magvie wrote: "Learnings from being scammed for 70,000 USD"
He was scammed through Discord when a stranger offered to help him setup his masternode.

We created a service called SetupMasternodes in collaboration with the Crypto Dragon team to assist in the demand of the masternode space of crypto. We do not need any access to setup your masternodes!
The SetupMasternodes.com team created an ANN thread about the service: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/setupmasternodescom-diy-we-teach-you-linux-and-how-to-setup-your-mn-3213738

Please discuss if you've been in a similar situation or what your thoughts are on this topic

While this is definitely a good heads up, I think its unfortunate that it has to even be made aware. The inherent purpose of cryptocurrencies is to be your own and do it yourself.

I dont have any, but i do know that in order to setup a masternode, you have to place a private key into the configuration file. If you need help and have to have someone else do that for you, you're trusting that the person helping you doesn't save that information and take advantage of the fact that you dont know what you're doing.

Thank you sir. We are in the process of educating the community to protect them.

In the long run, it will be better for everyone's sake to know what you SHOULD or SHOULD NOT do when it comes to masternodes.

Yes. Doing your research and knowing about the risks is KEY.

Sure enough, with crypto you've got a whole majority of people who want to use it, but can't be bothered to learn how to use it. I mean, even simple wallets a lot of people prefer to trust some website to hold their coins for them. Strange that they feel safer this way. I'll be the first to admit I've got no clue about setting up my own masternodes, but then I've never wanted to set one up. I'm real sure there's enough documentation to help people do it on their own.

Good service though, if you don't need access. Any numbers on how many have used you?

We have acquired 1 customer just a couple days ago, and his masternode was completed within 4 hours. We are currently producing with low volume posts around bitcointalk. Not trying to be spammy or anything, so we have to be conservative. Our service is focused on the growing the first 25 customers at an entry start rate of $50, and we'll see how it goes from here.
Thats good to hear out and only dumb persons would able to entrust other people on setting up masternode and giving out informations without awareness of a certain risk.Sad for that person who lose up money and now learned the lesson.Seeing on the project its quiet helpful but using this service would still have doubts into its potential costumers. Would you mind on sharing up the feedback on recent customer? Setting up masternode isnt really too hard actually.

We've actually had 5 customers now. 4 were for setting up a masternode and the other was for troubleshooting.

Everything has gone smoothly so far!
