I'm using Pokerstars Belgium, so I'm not sure if Pokerstars accepts Neteller in other countries, if someone could confirm, that would be really awesome!
Neteller is accepting BTC in every country in which it is operational. So, Im sure it is the case for every country. So, you can send your BTC to neteller and then load it on PS. All good Smiley

Neteller is still accepted.
You can also pay with cryptos via ecopay now.
I didnt try to transfer funds yet but theres a nice crypto list in their payment options if you select "Alternative Payments" option.
And if im not wrong, Astropay also accepts BTC via Neteller.
So yes we can use BTC and some other Alt Coins to play poker in Pokerstars.

This is not the same as accepting bitcoin. There is no mention on their site at all about accpeting bitcoin.

It's almost the same as saying pokerstars accepts bitcoin, because it allows wire transfers. I can simply sell my bitcoin for cash and transfer that to pokerstars!

Yup....It's not even close to being the same.  Having to go through several gateways to get your deposit on site is extremely inefficient and it actually provides the opposite result to the benefits of using the bitcoin platform.  Why would anybody even do this? It doesn't even make sense; it's just a waste of resources!

Pokerstars is one of the biggest poker platforms there are!
It makes sense why people would want to use Pokerstars, it's not just any website.
And Neteller is also a major platform.

The discussion was never about pokerstars as a platform. Pokerstars is a great platform and if you want to play poker you are good there.

Jumping through hoops just to use bitcoin on pokerstars is a different thing.

Although TS explained it can be faster if you than a wire transfer, I don't think there is a faster way to load your PS account than through your credit card or pre-funded accounts like Neteller.
Yeah, I just created the topic to inform people that they can use Bitcoin to fund their Pokerstars accounts because it's not really visible if you just look at the cashier.
I don't know how popular Netellers is, so I guessed it could just be useful info for people to know, even if you have to jump through a few hoops.

Btw, in my country you can't even use credit cards, since it's illegal for online casino's to accept CC payments.

I see a lot of topics asking for poker websites that accept Bitcoin, but no-one seems to know that you can actually use Bitcoin to deposit to your Pokerstars account.

Pokerstars accepts Neteller, Neteller accepts Bitcoin with a 2% fee, which is actually a lower fee than their other payment options.

I'm just making this topic to get this information out there, since my replies on other similar topics get buried by people who are just replying to increase their post count.

I hope someone gets some use out of this information!

Pokerstars doesn't accept bitcoins, Neteller does.

Though it is indirectly depositing bitcoins, I can't say that it is actually accepting bitcoins as deposits.

I think if pokerstars beldium accepts Neteller, then you shouldn't have any problems. Why not just try it out?

I completely disagree with that, yes it's almost the same.
You don't have to wait and you can deposit instantly with Bitcoin, even if it's through one more gateway.

It's not the same as them accepting wire transfers, because that would take several days.

If you really want to deposit using Bitcoin, you can almost immediately, you don't even need a verified Neteller account.
Yes you pay a 1% fee, actually the lowest fee of all Neteller account funding methods, but if for some reason you really want to use Bitcoin to fund your account, you can.

And I'm sure it's useful for some people who didn't know this.

Anyway, I've changed the title into something a little bit more accurate.

Good news, as i know to play on their site requires verification. Is it still necessary if we choose to use bitcoin for deposit / withdraw if yes i think will be better we play poker site that accept bitcoin but does not require verification.

Ofcourse they will neeed verification even for bitcoin deposits. They can't afford to have money laundering on their platform. And your second point is true. Here are some of the good options, nitrogesports, swc etc.

i think if not support bitcoin very dificult can get client bitcoin user, netteller need verified , bitcoin user like anonymous, and then mus charge fee

but i want ask in there suport player vs player or not, if support room is always full player to play or not

Funny question, dont you know that pokerstar is a big poker site where you play against other players? As it is not a player vs house game. And Since it is one of the biggest poker sites so I believe there are many active online players and you can play against them.

Yeah, I feel the same thing. Depositing through neteller takes away the point, because you would still be stuck with money on pokerstars as you will not be able to withdraw it from there after.

If you are looking to get yourself verified on Neteller, then might as well use a credit card itself.

How are you stuck with the money on PSA?
You can withdraw it back to Neteller?

I mean, what would be the point of gambling if you can't win  Cheesy

No I meant, you will not be able to withdraw your bitcoins back out. Even though you can withdraw your balance to neteller, I don't believe Neteller allows you to withdraw your account balance into bitcoins. Its only the deposits in bitcoins that they accept.

They say 1.5% fees for transferring to neteller but in reality sometimes it takes close to 6-10% as they use bitpay whose price is always lower by 5%. On top of that, the neteller charges of 1.5-2%. Initially it used to be free and Neteller have been accepting bitcoins for over a couple of years now but its not that great. Try and calculate the fee% next time you put in some of your native currency. Also, Im not ab big fan of neteller as they keep locking the account randomly for security checks making the whole process annoying. In fact they  have blocked my account randomly and not responding to my mails anymore. I had about 330$'s in the account when they blocked it. After months of request they finally agreed to pay the amount to my bank.

it is reasonable for pokerstars to not accept bitcoin directly , and prefer to use neteller.

and i think it is not a something new. as neteller itself has been there in pokerstars as a payment method for over 10 years or so i guess. but yes it is important for those people who did not yet know about this matter. pokerstars accept bitcoin (indirectly) .
