850 watt for 4 7950, which you are probably overclocking and overvolting, I'm not surprised it blew up. That's easily 1200 watts DC.

I have 4 rosewill lightning 1300, 2 of which I run close to or at 100% capacity with 6 x 7970 undervolted and overclocked (bitcoin, not litecoin). They hum along without breaking a sweat.

There seems to be a lot of hype about the lepa 1600W, but I am not a fan of multi rail. I absolutely hate load balancing.

Hey guys.  My first rig attempt was running fine until the PSU blew out.  I am running 4 Sapphires 7950's 4L with a sata HD.  I had a 850 watt PSU.  It ran for three days until it blew out.  Please advise so I can pony up the money for a decent one.

I saw this one:

COUGAR COUGAR-GX1050 1050W ($151.99)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817553008

and this one:
Rosewill LIGHTNING-1300 1300W  ($219.99)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182063

Or is there one for a decent price that you suggest?  Thanks ahead for any advice.
