Why, could you please explain and let me know more information?

PTOY marketing has lack of information we know that this coin is for medical purposes but if we look at the foundation it went true its so small that we couldn't believe that the roadmap on this coin will went ages. Backbone of a coin is so very important that why marketing and strategies must be in a right place and right time even it has small investors taking small steps at a time will bring the coin up.

Having a profit just by trading for a certain coin does not mean that it is a scam or legit. Many coins are released on market but still turn to scam once the devs abandon his coin and sell or his premine share. But I will vouch that PTOY is a legit coin with solid vision and features, This coin offers fresh features in crypto world.

Just because someone makes money on a scam coin doesn't mean it is 100% not a scam coin. However, I am torn about this coin because of the following.

Good coin because of their awards.

    Ranked Top 5 digital health solution in the world for empowering patients
    Voted Top 10 Amplify Women in Technology Startup out of 139 startups
    Named Top 11 Company Disrupting Healthcare in 2017 by Becker’s Hospital Review
    MedTech Innovator Top 100

If they already done this much. I'll give them a +1. (If you bother to spend the time researching and going to those websites for the said awards, you can see it's legit.

Denver-based Colorado Permanente Medical Group -> part of the Kaiser Permanente consortium, based in Oakland, California. (Billion dollar consortium of 10.2million patients) Seriously, just do some basic research.

Patientory is also part of the Startup Health portfolio, a global organization leading the movement to transform health.

Things I am torn about though.
I'll just start out by saying that I have no medical background or any knowledge on how the medical industry works, therefore I cannot really judge. I highly doubt many of the investors in their coin understand the medical industry either. So... I believe it is up to Patientory to lay everything out in layman's terms. Just hold a sessions and post on youtube would do wonders for people who doubt.

1.) check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iu_exCAx8f4, their latest Q and A session. I am a business major and have a career in the financial part. Their Q and A and presentation style leaves a lot to be desired. Seriously, they can't have rented a better office or conference at a hotel somewhere for this? It looks like its in someone's basement.

2.) The answers both of them give.... doesn't make sense. One of the questions is how will the company able to sell ptoy coins given the volatility of the market to hospitals with fixed budget. And the answer the CEO give... is more or less incoherent. They are going to pay with fiat? ... Inflation.. I do not understand at all and given that presentation, she have no good answers either.

I really do hope they succeed. In fact they are going to the biggest convention for medical start up and going to enter that competition as well in September. If they can get first prize there, they well set to change this industry.

I think their coin is ok. It's just they need to start getting their act together or hire a better PR rep.

How many people think it's shady because it was an ICO? I wonder that the opinion would be if the finding model was different.

If you want invest and hold long-term, yeah I will say PTOY maybe a scam project or not good than Factom coin (medical project too). But if you just invest and take profit short-term, haha congratulation anyone has been invested to this ICO, because 2 days ago they can take profit with 100-400%

What makes you think that the PTOY project is a scam,if you have any technical evidence then you should clarify this in this thread rather than calling it a scam,the price of PTOY went down drastically after they got listed in exchanges but now the price have recovered,so if you call out something there must be some proof.

Do not believe it easily.
Everyone is very easy to say scam for various purposes, or just looking for sensual and joking.
Ptoy already signed Bittrex please check! 

In few days the price of ptoy rises 4x.its like as scam but  i am not sure it is a scam coin.You should research about this coin before invest

You have a good point on this. Let's see how PTOY will perform in the healthcare industry. I hope they are not after in the trading market only but the realization of their project.

I think you should bring proof if a coin scam. Don't accuse without proofing. If there is no data for public, have you ask the developers how to acces the data. I think everyone can say this coin is scam this coin is legit but please bring us proof so we can learn and make decision if we want to invest or not.

This is a great idea but will be very difficult for mass adoption. Who has control over what patient information is added? Who has access to said patient information?

Currently hospitals strictly regulate who can access patient data and even monitor which patients the employees look up . As an example, if a celebrity came into the hospital, only their medical team should be monitoring their chart. If other employees were trying to access their chart, this activity is audited and the employee would be punished. Also, if a healthcare professional leaves that hospital/clinic then they would no longer have access to that patients information with the current records system. How would this be regulated with patientory? All activity on current electronic medical records is monitored for inappropriate activity. On a blockchain, it seems it would be too difficult to do this for most hospitals to adopt this as a replacement to their current records system.

the price right now of the ptoy in the exchanges are really big! It pumps really high! A skyrocket price! I was shock about it. Those who invested ptoy and hold it until now i think they earn a ton! I think it doubles the price when they bought it. Overall the ptoy coin is really great coin. Lets buy it in the market.

People... they don't even read patientory's whitepaper but they can easily talk about privacy, security etc. Most part of their whitepaper is about HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) It is very well designed taking into account current regulations in private health info. I think it will rise like stratis, just wait and be smart.

It was trading well below the ICO price and even with the price rise today it is still below the ICO price,i am not sure how they will be implementing the solution to good use,either way good luck and hope we good reach the ICO price when the project starts functioning.
