I think the hard fork is in favour of ethereum going up as the rate of mining ethereum will reduce and that will lower supply which in turn will increase the price.
The market has started recovering and almost all the coins are appreciating this day. I think ethereum is one of the coins that has make a good gains for the past few day. Bitcoin itself is also trying to break $4000 level and I do believe that the pump may last for some days as the market capitalization is also growing.

green for a while is not the right time for investment, the market is not fully in a good position. wait until the market is stable and always in a green position maybe this is the best step for investment

I think it is not the time for investment but to take profits from leverage trading or altcoin trading. I would prefer to go for leverage trading as now is the time when you can make a lot of profit from it as it is very easy to guess the trend in this market for now.

even now until February I see there is no movement for the high pump. maybe this still needs a process and in the near future this will definitely happen to pump.

Obviously this was a couple of months ago, but we had a similar situation earlier this week as well...
We've had a year of downwards movement, so unfortunately two days or even a week of moving upwards means absolutely nothing against the overall trend. I think we'd need a crypto market cap of well over $200 billion before we could begin to consider that we might be ending the bear trend.

Not sure about the timing. If you would notice the price of the market for 3 consecutive days has been improving and still pumping in a steadily manner.

Of course this is still the best time because the price is cheap, imho.

Don't FOMO and enter when the price is already at peaked, let the 2017 be a lessons for everyone to slowly accumulate and buy during the dip or when the price is very low.

We have seen some changes in the last 48 hours but it doesn't mean that this is a bull run. It is still a perfect time to still get in before a eventual bull run occurs in the coming months.

I want this pump to happen soon, and it's alright if it will dump as long as it will pump again.

But like you said, it's better to see a steady increase, but I think it's not the nature of the market, even if you look at the graph.
What I like to witness this year is those what happen in the profitable years of bitcoin, regardless on how the graph will move, what's important is we will experience a new bull run, so when we were not able to sell during the last pump, we can make it right this time.

The market was too oversold and corrections work both way - this time we're correcting upwards.
