But how would you know when the right time to sell or buy is ? Its easy to look st the graph afterwards but how do you actually predict this ? Even if people say they will pump how can you be certain they will ? Maybe its only a trap ?

I get a good giggle out of reading this. Everything thinks they know when a pump and dump is occurring but can't seem to understand the logic with supply and demand. If you'd like to know more about pump and dump, then read up on supply and demand.

yes i agree that you should know some basics about trading, and some facts like supply and demand and many other things but it has nothing to do with the topic here which is pump and dumps and groups that are doing itand that is what happening in the altcoin world.

the thread might be interesting for noobs if you teach them how to identify an accumulation phase that leads to a pump (and dump).
i believe expanse is about to go through another pump, or at least primed for a pump scenario [2-5x]. It appears the market has been in accumilation for a few months. it seems like whenever you see a topic with the word Pump in it everybody starts advertising their own coin like my above post by an obvious throwaway account
anyways i am also interested in this if you can catch some pumps before they actually happen.

it would be great if there could be a watch for pre-pump-action not after it has happened. i mean when the price is low and the coin is still in the accumulation phase.
I'm watching closely LSK and 1CR for this very soon...
