Vladimir Putin, government of Russia announced the its own cryptocurrency "CryptoRuble".
And it comes with a 13% tax on profit integrated to the system.
What do you think about this?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/breaking-russia-issuing-cryptoruble

Of course, that's what he wants to do, imposed heavy tax on a state sponsored cyrpto. This is the main reason why Russia suddenly turns against bitcoin and cryptocurrency. They know that they can't control and regulate those coins that's why they have to put a break on them. They have learn from China, that's why instead of the so called love for crypto specially Ethereum, they just decided to have their own coins. 13% tax is too damn high for any country to begin with. So I don't like this idea of them. Only the rich can afford this coin, or maybe this is really their target. And I'm sure the ordinary citizen won't support it so it won't get enough support and soon this coin will die.

Everyone knows that in Russia they do not very readily comply with the laws. The tax at a rate of 13 percent from the sum of profit is unlikely to be paid voluntarily, without special compulsion. And after all, it is possible to withdraw the crypto currency from the country and turn it into a fiat, which then as usual money is used for buying various goods. For example, the Russian government will prohibit the use of the country's crypto currency. And what from this? Will it be performed? I doubt it. There is plenty of opportunity to get around this ban again.

Finally gouvernments start being more familiar with crypto money and believe in it , I think it's time to legalize such currencies since it could bring extra profit to states.

it is the future, every country will create their own cryptocurrencie, the vcomon money didn't work

Let them keep it coming! It will be as good as dead on arrival. What is the point? Why don't we just stick to the usual fiats then, rather than using a government produced crypto. Something that is going to be controlled, manipulated and all. They should keep their crypto to themselves. These guys are just plaster saints and so funny they are using the same technology of something they are declaring illegal at the same time just because of their own gain of having the ability to control. They are deceiving themselves if they think even the citizens will accept such a shit coin.

Russia already has a good coin. Its called Waves. but Putin wants to own everything same as trump and any other goverments.
But community will not give support. And crypto currency is built on community.

why would anyone want to use this centralized wannabe crypto is beyond me.
this is more or less the same stuff they already have but cheaper for them (gov) to create cos they don't need to spend ink and paper  Roll Eyes

Good point about not needing to create paper and coins for money, one day it might all be on the blockchain. Oldies might have problems with it though so we're quite a few decades away from that

Instead of making the existing ruble is stable and attractive, he undertakes the creation of new. I never buy it. I guess this means that the economy of Russia is at the bottom and ruble cash will not save nothing. Well if they call the coin ruble. Everyone will know what it is. Anyway, I'm going to boycott any cryptocurrency which creates the state.

Wow. This is a joke? News of the day for me.
Now each state will make its own crypto currency? What for? Just to participate in this market too? Or the next taxes?  Undecided
In my opinion, it would be better to use blockhein in government operations, medicine, social and taxation. Would make the state more transparent for citizens.

I didn't find anological news in Russian, so I guess it's more of a speculation about Putin. What I did find is a member of the National Banking Council of Central Bank of Russia Aksakov saying that there's some official research in Russia on the market of cryptocurrencies and that he doesn't believe that Russia will actually release its own currency but perhaps something like that (and he calls it 'cryptoruble' just because it sounds nice for him) is planned. You can see it in Russian here: http://cryptoconsulting.info/ru/2017/news/crypto-ruble-whether-or-not-it-will-be-and-if-so-what/

Who will use these coins and for what needs?
As for me, I'm not interested.
They want to control the society and get the income from it. I think it's normal for any country
