What is NameStorage?
The NameStorage is basically a decentralized data storage that is tied to names that can be registered or bought through name exchange. The NameStorage allows the owner of the corresponding name to store arbitrary data (e.g. pictures, files) in the NameStorage. Only the owner of a name can change the corresponding NameStorage, but everyone can access the uploaded data in an easy way. The data is stored with the help of special arbitrary transactions that have the service number 10. The NameStorage itself is key/value based which means you store the data under a key which will be in most cases the name of the file.

I've read about Qora in an article on https://altcoinspekulant.wordpress.com and then browsed around this thread. I really like the concept of Qora. In post from Skerberus some days ago I've read something about 'Qrowdfunding'. Does this mean that there is a crowd funding planned to support the Qora project, or did I misunderstood that?

Can I read up somewhere on how exactly that storage works ?

You can upload arbitrary data into the namestorage of your name. So open your Qora client: In order to use the namestorage you need to register a name, if you don't have a name yet you can register one here (names must be lowercase!) http://127.0.0.1:9090/registername . After that browse to http://127.0.0.1:9090/index/namestorage.html . Choose your name from the dropdown menu. After that choose a key under which you will find the file later (e.g. myfile.txt). Use the browse button and choose your file and press upload. After that is done you need to press the submit button to upload it into blockchain and approve the security call. Keep in mind that there is a 50 transaction per batch restriction at the moment, so if your file exceeds that limit uploading it will be forbidden, so 139KB might be too much if it can't be compressed well.
Keep in mind that the namestorage is public so after uploading the file everyone will be able to download that file here http://127.0.0.1:9090/yourname/yourkey so you need to encrypt it yourself if you don't want others to read the content.

The zipped data folder is currently only here available http://qora.co.in/?datafolder . We might add that in later versions to the decentralized blockexplorer too.

The new block explorer looks fantastic, far more professional than the old one. Is there a link on it to a zipped blockchain data folder download like the old one had yet, or will you be putting a link to it elsewhere? I couldn't find one, but I can still find a download link to a data folder on the old block explorer.

last two month there was no payout because only a few blocks was forget, because of the diff is extreme high and in the asset are only 5 mios.

today the diff is 6.000.000.000 so the chance to forge a block is extreme low atm.

look at the blockex of the account, there you can check how much qora are forged in the meantime from last payout. also the at, that pays 50 qora for a forged block ran out of money, so some blocks without a transaction forged with 0 for the forger.

I want to introduce here my brand new Buyback Asset.

The Buyback Asset is based on the idea, that investors profit in four ways.

First way is, that based on a monthly payout that comes from sales of new share will be payout to the investors

Seconds way is, that the amount of shares will also be reduced, so that every month the amount of shares that gets payout from the first way will be lesser and lesser and because of that, the amount that will be payout for one share will become more and more, every month.

The second way will also help to increase the value of the shares for traders, so also the price for one share will increase.

Third way is that i buyback for the lowest price a holder wants to sell. so holders of the shares can determinate this price. Because of that that will be higher of the initial price, that the profit they have.

Fourth way is that initial price is 10. so that also little increases are good profits in percentage!

Phase 1:
Beginning with this post, 50% of the shares will bei available for purchase. This ends at first of february 2016, also if not all shares are sold.

Phase 2:
If all shares from Phase 1 are sold, then Phase 2 starts.
The next 50% will be sold equaly over at least the next 25 months (depends on who much from phase one was sold). For this a sell order is placed every first of the month.
The income from this sell will be used to payout the investors a monthly interest and buyback.

40% of the montly income will be used for the interest to pay out investors. This will be done after all montly shares are sold. (at least a few days after that)

40% for will be used for the buyback. I will buyback as much shares i can this this coins. Price is the price for that i can buyback. So its the lowest price someone wants to sell (open sell orders).

20% is for the asset management.

The income from Phase 1 is for backup and will be used, if in one month no new shares could be sold, so that the investors still get the interest.

FAQ
In case of no sell orders at the time of the monthly buyback, any amount not spent will enter into the amount offered for buyback in the following month and so on.

How to buy:
1. open your wallet
2. go to tab assets
3. click on all assets
4. go to asset ID (197), doubleclick
5. click on "open qora pair"
6. on the left upper side you find "sell qora, or in 0.23/0.24 Buy (107)Buyback...."
7. put in the left upper field price "10"
8. put in in the amount field, the amount you want to buy, for example if you want to buy 100k, put in 100000
9. click on the sell button (the left one)
10. finish.
