We are no one to judge or justify this is a quality for the professional trader. people will consider the person who is winning and being top in the market this is applicable for trading as well as any kind of field in this world.
Som not sure how will you categorise this person is professional and that person is not.

I know etoro from ads that appear on videos when I watch YouTube. I think it's not as easy as we think it to editing a portfolio,
there are indeed some people who have editing skills but there are very few. To know that we are qualified as a professional
trader maybe etoro has a special app or platform to test our trading capabilities, then we are interviewed live. For payment,
it is possible to share the money from investors who have joined as etoro customers.

I'm thinking about how to be qualified as a professional trader, There's a web site that I found on ads and it's called Etoro. On the website they allow users to copy a certain trader's portfolio and the website show the trader's current growth.

My question is how can a certain website know if you are qualified as a professional trader? I don't think the portfolio is enough to be trusted because it is easily manipulated by some editing skills.

Copy trade is somewhat popular in forex market. Apart from Etoro, there is another broker called FBS which also allows users to copy other's trade and I have tried it on FBS itself with a small amount of money! But the result was a disaster! I lost all my investment within 3 days! However, there is a very simple process to become a trader in FBS. Just check the below link,

https://fbs.com/trading/copytrade-for-traders

Once FBS approves you, your trade patterns will be open to the public and they can start copying your trade. In exchange, you will get 5% of their total trade volume as reward. I don't see restriction to become a professional trader in FBS. Etoro must be having similar policies as well!

Maybe such platform hire professional traders and verify it thru having an actual trade, interviews, or situatioan exams to verify how a trader will decide. Of course they will have proof of your trades and also will look into your portfolio.

I do not know much about eToro except its name but in general portfolio can't be easily edited. Professional portfolios are build by good trading over a time period. As far as forex trading is concerned, there is an investor password by which any third person can check and analyze trading of any trader. These passwords are used to fetch detail from broker and it builds a portfolio like how much is the winning rate, how much is dd, what is percentage of profit/loss, how much amount was invested, what was withdrawal everything we even cannot assume. I am sure eToro will also have something like this to build any professional portfolio.

I also noticed etoro ads on my FaceBook and sometimes on YouTube.
No, that is not an indication that you are in professional traders that is something like an affiliate program. Once someone copy-pasted your portfolio, you can get a 10% bonus from the investors, but you can't withdraw all these bonuses.

For further knowledge, you can read this article and they are thinking that etoro also looks like a scam. But I personally think that it is a marketing strategy to lure gamblers to join etoro. https://socialtradingguru.com/etoro-scam-or-not

Etoro's ads are everywhere, in Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.

I only consider a trader a professional trader if he is focusing on it full time, or if he is earning much of his income from it, or perhaps he is employed by a trading institution as a trader, or he has undergone formal courses on it. If a trader is trading on his own and when he has vacant time only, or only if he gets to access to some other traders' TAs, then he is not a professional trader.

If the portfolio was the only basis then anyone can be a professional trader either editing or borrowing some photos. If you really want to be qualified a professional trader, its not only the portfolio, you must show something else like skills and how do you chart. I don't know etoro but it is currently circulating around some website and youtube ads.  What's the benefit of joining etoro as a professional trader?
Maybe traders who is applying will do some live trading? to confirm its skills?

Simple, They joined Etoro to provide service by letting their portfolio be copied and getting a commission on the website.
Yeah might be possible because that's how they will be qualified and to show their skills. In terms of copying a trade or lets say what tools they were using i think that is kinda hard unless people who wants to copy trade will have that skills or will let that trader trade for his or her money.

We can distinguish between pro traders and the usual traders is from their history of their analysis. Pro traders are not taking a trade by feelings and news , but they always do a technical analysis before they enter a trade. So i think just from portofolio we can't say the person is a pro trader just because they have a big amount of assets there, we don't know how much capital when they start trading

No it cant be easily be edited though.I'll give you an example but for forex discussions where you can able to track out
traders history with this https://www.myfxbook.com/. Brokers would simply offer those kind of copy trading service and noobs
do easily being hooked up since you are just simply copying them as a benefit for the platform on where they would use since
commission would always be present.
