I've read a lot of posts and comments on this forum in the past few days but I saw few posts or replies saying "this have been talked about many times before " ,as a fresh forum user like me how will I know if something like that have been discussed before?

Also is it wrong for someone else to discuss what a person have talked about before?

Personally,  I don't think it is a problem if we discuss something that was already discussed in the past.

I just take a look in one or two boards if is there already an open discussion before I create a new topic. I just look the first page. Alternatively,  you can Google the" keywords + bitcointalk " to see if you find something related.

The problem is when people create a new topic when someone already open on the same subject just a few hours before. This generates confusion as nobody follow two discussions. However,  for big topics this is most likely happen as there are o many boards and so many people here.

But I wouldn't mind this subject if I were you. Just act normally in the forum and don't spam around, i.e., don't  write what you wouldn't say in a normal conversation

You can search for answers on a search engine like Google or duckduckgo to see if it's already been asked/answered before.

A lot of the time when people make those sorts of posts, they should direct you to the original thread where it was discussed - if they don't, I'd recommend reporting that post as spam unless they actually give you an answer.

It's not wrong to open topics to ask questions that have been asked before (especially if the last thread on it was made years ago and something might have changed or if you can't find any answers from a quick search - if the first three non ad links don't have an answer, ask here or if they don't have a quick answer).

Also: This has been asked before Grin.
