If you have a lot of free time, you can go for free tokens because you have not lost anything. If this project is going well, there are opportunities for you to make money.

there is a gigantic number of coins that don't even exist in the real world (meaning no announcement, no blockchain, no nothing) they only exist on yobit! some of them have died but some were so shitty that the creators didn't know what to do so they only listed it on yobit.

the way their free coins used to work a couple of years ago was to attract people to their site and increase their traffic. now it works in a way that any user can start a giveaway so they use it to try and sell their shitcoins. for example they place a sell at 1 satoshi (there is no buy orders) then open the giveaway. if you claim it you either have to let it clog your wallet or have to buy the coin to be able to sell it because what you have is smaller than minimum. and when you attempt to buy you would be buying from that person opening the order.

it is a silly thing and i don't think they can make any money from it but they do it anyways.

Yobit's listing policy is quite liberal. If somebody pays the fees, then their token/coin is in. Free coins aren't exactly the cream of the crop most of the time. Hopefully Yobit would clean that section up. I think it could attract some more quality traffic if it wasn't at the state it currently is.

Claiming a free coin from their faucet is a waste of time and it will took you a year before you can accumulate a dollar. By the way, there's a dice on their site where you can double the free coin that you've received from the faucet.

I wonder what's the point of giving free coins when it's just a shit coin. Does the yobit have some plan about of those free coins like some kind of a project that would be profitable in the future if successfully listed in one of the well-known exchanges? I know there nothing wrong of accepting some free coins but what's the point of giving it when we can't actually use it?
Obviously, in this way they want to attract the attention of beginners. Yobit was for me the first exchange that I met. And at that time I was pleased to receive free tokens. Only later I managed to find out that these tokens are worth nothing and will not cost in the future. Today Yobit holds another airdrop. And those who like to get free can join.
Yeah join and receive some shit coin, it's a garbage in my wallet if i do accept some of those free coin to be honest. Only newbies will accept those shit coins without doing some research. It's like a shitty bounty hunter that keep on spamming their ref link everywhere in any social media platforms and collecting airdrops everywhere. Smh Sad

Thanks in advance for your help.  I know it's a waste of time claiming those free coins, but I have a bad habit of wasting my own time (lol).
Just simply those info cant really be found since these are shit tokens in the first place. Usually shit projects do directly being listed on Yobit yet they do have that free listing as  i know.

Since you do talk that you do have a bad habit on wasting up your time then you can continue on claiming those free coins but dont hope much for some bull run
or pumps of those coins because its nearly impossible to happen. If you can afford to get those shit tokens then proceed.

There is no much information about this coin, my findings shows that it is related to NXT coin and it is an old coin.
The only viable web link about the coin is https://blockfolio.com/coin/QUBIX
I doubt if it value will rise beyond 1 cent.

Do not worry,,, you were not the only one to waste all your time, I did it before too some time ago, over a year in fact. And in those days you could claim something like 50 coins and all of them were so lagging I do not even know why I wasted my time so we have all been newbies not just you;)

But I believe some tokens now you see there are yobit tokens meaning only launched from yobit themselves and are pure speculation icos, no whitepaper etc.

Its more of a psychological impact to give free coins. You see there are many "projects" that gave out free coins to ethereum holders and they never had any value at all. So this made an impact on those who are looking to make some quick buck to pump and dump that coin, but those who didnt understand the motif ended up bagging some shitcoin which is worthless now.

Then there are projects that have used this feature for something good. INX,now renamed as Insolar, did a airdrop of a promo token which if you held would give you a discount on purchase of INX tokens in their ICO.

So you can both good and bad effects of free tokens that have been given out be it on yobit or somewhere else. You have to judge.

You earn with yobit signature campaign and why have take problem with free coin like qubix, if you got good price on exchange market qubix on yobit you can trade or sell your assets, talking about free coin is not worry when you faced with shit con without worth on exchange market. Just think you are joining with free way to earn coin without have to invest.
So they are giving free shits to users and making everyone fools?

Why they need to offer something which has no value?

Earning a free coin with no value is just useless.

Since that Qubix projects was listed it was never reached any price value so its something similar to scam project but got listed.

It looks like it's an old coin, I've heard of it. But I have forgotten since when Qubix appeared and died. There is no benefit to knowing either. To be sure, claiming freecoin in Yobit is useless because they are mostly worthless. You better watch their chatbox. Sometimes there are those who give Yobit code there.

Maybe the OP asked the existence of this coin because it can get for free on yobit with the most numbers that can get 200+ tokens for free on the yobit exchange. I don't know the existence of this QUBIX project but it can be traded on the yobit exchange, even though there is no buy order. if you look at the history every day there are those who buy it even in small numbers, in my opinion just take it while it's free even though it wastes a little time. because I have experienced NANO coin faucet last year, each claim gets 100 coins, after that what happened ATH increased by $ 37. maybe if I diligently used to, now I become rich only from the faucet.

Yobit actually has a page where it gives info about every coin listed on the exchange with the respective website and blockexplorer for the ones available. https://yobit.net/en/coinsinfo/
But there's zero info about QUBIX. Similarly there are no informations about a dozen more coins.
Maybe they just exist in the ledger of the exchange and has no blockchain.

QUBIX really just seems like a random shitcoin created simply for the purpose of being pumped and then dumped on Yobit- I can't find any information on it either even after doing extensive digging on various search engines narrowing in on just the term Qubix, and it does not seem to be listed anywhere else except on Yobit. The only information I can really find on it is from the Cryptotalk forum and some people suggesting it's some failed IEO on Yobit, but that's about it.

There honestly might not be any sort of site or even a blockchain for the coin at all. That's completely possible considering how shady Yobit is overall; I've found another Russian-language website that seems to suggest it was made only for pumping and dumping here (click for direct link) as well.

Not only yobit giving a way free coins there are also some exchange giving some free tokens and this is just normal cause most tokens giveaway on an exchange is a way to support those project. Moreover, the project usually gave some quantitative amount for marketing purposes also.

Ive using stex exchange and I have a lot of free tokens from the exchange. If the project token given to you doesn't have any value then considered it as a souvenir, cause I dont think they will give some huge amount that has fair value for just a giveaway.

Most of them basically don't even exist from what I gathered, the list is full of coins that don't even exist at all.
Are you saying they literally don't exist?  That doesn't make any sense if yobit is giving them away.  They might be completely dead, but I have to assume they did exist at some point.

Any idea what QUBIX is?  At least if I can find out what that one is/was, I'll be partially satisfied.  I have a hard time believing yobit is giving away 'ghost' coins.  What's the point of that?

Just checked the site and the coins they're offering. Most of them basically don't even exist from what I gathered, the list is full of coins that don't even exist at all. They have absolutely no market, no volume whatsoever. You could say it's somewhat a "honeypot" for amassing a userbase.
