And also you went on a bitcoin forum. Expect that everybody here talking and transacting bitcoin. Well, if you don't have enough coins then this is your first step to earn more. Just rank up your account and join a signature campaign.

As a beginner, earning bitcoin is risky in every method. Try to rank high which needs more time, if earning is required in less time signature campaign is not the hope, try trading.

Also it's good to ask guidance from the one who introduced btc to you. Hey may not know everything but he can give you a hands on assistance. But if you found this yourself, go to newbie forums there are thoughtful members here who really tried to make easier guide posts. Try to familiarize the forum and always be careful of smartass members and scammers.

thank you everyone for the wonderful information! im sorry i have so many question but thank you all of answering these newbie questions that im sure are asked pretty much everyday.
Yes they're asked all the time, even though they're answered already, a useful feature of the forum is the "search" option, you can search for anything and you'll see that your question has already been covered. If it is not then don't be afraid to ask in proper section, like this one belongs to the "Beginners and help" section, you can scroll down to the bottom and move it there.

theres these sites called exchanges online. pretty much what they do is exchange your local fiat currency into bitcoin. coinbase and circle are the big exchanges that i commonly use.

do i need anything else when buying a bitcoins? like a wallet or something? sorry i am very new.

If you want to spend your bitcoins or store long term you need a wallet.

If you just want to spend in legal stuff Coinbase.com acts as an exchange and as a wallet.

Using exchanges you don't need to interact with people, you just transfer the money and you buy the bitcoin. Smiley

Go to Localbitcoin.com if you want to trade 1on1 or use one of the online Bitcoin exchanges. Most of the questions you have, has already been answered in this section :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0 but you are still free to ask, if you not sure. It is a good idea to make use of escrow services, because there are a lot of scammers on this forum and

on many other platforms dealing in Bitcoin. Remember, once the bitcoins are transferred to the buyer, it is not refundable. Good luck.. it's a minefield out there.  Roll Eyes

To buy easily, I also recommed coinbase. You'll have to provide some info about yourself, but once done it is really easy to buy and sell bitcoins from their user panel.

Yes, there are lot's of websites where you can buy bitcoins, check these:

https://www.bitstamp.net/
https://www.kraken.com/
https://www.bitfinex.com/

okay next question when trading users what is the preferred way to trade them. don't want to have any ban manners or seem retarded. do most ppl use a middle man service?

Some people use escrow (reputable person who is essentially a middle man), although this usually involves a fee to be paid to the escrow.
