Ok, one last try: In the off chance that your account was created before the end of 2010 and was hacked/breacked at some point, I’ve added a tab called "All accounts created before end of 2010" to the file used in my previous post. There are now 1.594 accounts to go through, all created before end of 2010, with disregard to their date of last activity  …

Same file: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10xb90ecne54XQn2ZvOTH7K60WCc7MYob7EsEGHBf2hA/edit?usp=sharing

OP, you can also check out this list of 72 accounts. Perhaps one of them used to belong to you.
The list below contains profiles that were registered in 2010 with a rank higher than Newbie and with the comments prior to 2014. I excluded accounts which were in the first DdmrDdmr's file.

Thanks ddmrddmr for the list.

I went through them and none look like what I would have ever created.

Ah well. I think I will let this go. At least till I can figure out my registration email. I just wanted to rediscover my old account. No big loss. It is appreciated you provided this. Thank you.

I retrieved and old database I had, including all profiles at end of November 2018. Acording to what you say, the profile you are looking for should have:
-   Been created before end of 2010
-   Last active before end of 2011, to allow for a margin (not up-to-date, but a November 2018 snapshot serves the porpose).

That renders a list of 384 potential profile candidates:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10xb90ecne54XQn2ZvOTH7K60WCc7MYob7EsEGHBf2hA/edit?usp=sharing

I have provided the bare amount of information in the list.

With the list of so many Accounts that are registered on Bitcointalk and guess ( 20 % of the Accounst Banned )
its will be a long journey for you to look at them all .

Remember there was a time at 2013 - 2014 there was many Accounts hacked .

Wish you good luck with your search.

Well I know I was an early adopter here. I was mining on my old Pentium lol. But I can't recall revisiting the site after maybe 2010. I would only have to search the earliest years of this site existence.

I was not aware of the hacking event. Hopefully not effecting me, but it is what it is I guess.

Thank you

Actually admin has been very helpful here for me via the support link. (And I sincerely thank for that).

I get the impression that some here subtly suggest I am attempting to access something that is not mine, but I can only assure that it is not the case.

I will figure it out eventually. Maybe if I could ask staff to at least give me temp access to the public member list page I could search it and see if I spot the old account.

Regardless, thank you all for the info.

Sincerely.

Hey, don't know who to ask so it is here.

Many years ago I had an account here. Would love to retrieve it if possible.

Staff: can any of you guys do an email search for an account associated with my old email address?

I just can't remember my old username

Thanks in advance
It is the same as finding something but you don't know any information about it. You don't know your account name, email address and possibly the BTC address.

Anyway, there will be someone who will help you but you need to remember your username or even just the email address in order for them to help you Wink Good luck in retrieving your account.

Actually wanted to do a username search to see if I could recognise it, but alas, it isn't allowed for me to view at my member level.
I didn't know there are restrictions for low-ranking accounts to search for Members. If it helps, I can get you a list of account names. Just ask Smiley

If you don't have extraordinary proof that you owned your previous account, then you're going to have an impossible time recovering it.

Even people with indisputable evidence often fail to recover their accounts, or it takes a while to finalize the process. Account recovery just isn't that high up the priority list for admins around here.

You can always use bpip (external site) as an alternative to perform the search. Nevertheless, once you know what account you are trying to recover, if you don’t know the access credentials you’ll still need to undergo the  recovering hacked/lost accounts procedure.

Thank you all for your feedback on this. I have initiated email conversation with an admin here (I assume via the support link. Hopefully fruitful.

YOSHIE, you kind of cracked me up a bit. You took it over the top.

That said...

No chaotics her my friend. ETH didn't exist then. And I do not post publicly any identifiable information.

I never said Gmail, I said email. And likely used from freemail or my domains as a webmaster. I suspect freemail, long abandoned.

Yeah, it's been nearly a decade, maybe my doctor can help me remember. *snicker*.

I stopped mining Bitcoin or even visiting probably in the same year, ya know, when Bitcoin could only buy a pizza for 10kbtc.

Anyway, maybe admin with access will respond to my email.

Thanks again folks for your support.

Your question is a bit chaotic. How not, you ask without carrying the slightest evidence, at least your username or gmail stash.
or you remember the address of something for example, BTC address, ETH that you used in the past.

Staff: can any of you guys do an email search for an account associated with my old email address?
Your question is trapping.....
How could Staff look for gmail or username if you don't know the gmail you use.
All members here have gmail or username but all are remembered except you.
Cases like this are rare, maybe in a thousand members there isn't necessarily like you have experienced.

I just can't remember my old username
Maybe you, during this time in the hospital, and stated by the doctor you have "memory loss." can not remember the past.

I found the account name is almost the same as your current account and this account has been inactive for a long time.

1. TeamSecret
2. SecretRandom
3. TopSecret631

But I'm not sure this is yours.
Try to remember something that can be seen and searched.

You can use this link[1] to search for any other information such as search using the site or nickname.
If you remember the address of your wallet or any conversation you can search using the search option in this forum or through Google.
Generally, you are obliged to prove your ownership of the account which is something that needs to be investigated. So give as much evidence as you can.
I see that you have earned 8 Merits so restoring an old or new account will not make a difference. Essence in your posts.

If you know your old BTC addy(s) then google it to find it posted under your username..
If you have any old BTCT notification emails in your email account you can probably find clues in there also to lead you to where you can find your old account..

I presume he still remembers his old email account as he just stated here:
Staff: can any of you guys do an email search for an account associated with my old email address?

I guess you may contact the moderators here or probably the Cryptios to handle your case. I hope you'll able to recover it, we'll watch this thread. It's a huge help too if you still know your bitcoin address posted here, that way, finding your account will be easy as suggested by @tranthidung.

If you can still have access to your email, you can try to reset your password via your email.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=reminder

If your account has not been hacked, and sometimes, for some reasons, your account can likely be locked due to security.

If the first step to reset password via email fails, you should follow other recovery steps in that guide from admin, with enough proof of ownership to get your account back.

If you already signed a bitcoin message years ago, and still can sign a new message from the same address, it will be helpful.
