What percentage of full time crypto traders are profiting though?  Someone said over 95% of traders lose money... so what about pro traders then?
Then that's the percentage in one's basis for the traders who are profiting in their chosen field. The pro traders could be the remaining 5% on that ratio.
It's not an easy job to do if someone goes full time trading. IMO, it's easier to just buy and wait for it to rise and if you've other things to do, you should be focusing on what you do and just check your trades or the coins you've bought. If it has risen in value, time to sell. Not that too hassle to do it and many have been doing it.

In the past month and a half i've made over 100k arbing different markets and developing a very hard-to-beat strat. I submitted my resignation to my full time job last week . Wish me luck.
The 100k made, is it in dollar or in your local currency? If it's in the formal then it's a great feat and one worth celebrating. I do believe you took a nice decision quitting if you're already profitable to that point. Why tie oneself to a 9-5 slavery when one can do it on ones' term and pace? This is also the point that throws me off when someone tells me they're profitable traders but are still keeping their 9-5 paid job. It doesn't make sense. Perhaps, it makes sense if we have a discerning sense of perception enough to decode because what that simply echoes is that the person claiming to be profitable while still keeping their paid 9-5 job is not. They're just lying through their teeth. Enjoy your moment of freedom, OP.
Freedom in terms of financial but of course it would really be accompanying some risk from time to time but this is much more better because you do know that you can really had advantage compare to others

which are being slaved by that 8-5 day job which is really a good thing that you do really able to break that chain of slavery.How i wish that i would able to attain such knowledge

to make myself also break on this one.I do love to have my own time and im the boss everytime i do wish which it isnt really possible if you do have work.

I did the same 3 years ago and I have no regret of any kind. In fact, I am making my monthly payment just within 3-4 days and in the worse case scenarios, a week maximum.
That's lit mate. If you've been doing that for 3 years ago, you must be living your life freely and just sits on your computer to do trades. And when you've executed your trades, you're free to do anything that you want. And after those days that you have set, you're just going to get your paycheck. That's a solid business and strategy for you and if you can do it, then others can also do this but for me, I'm still far from making that shortcut for a monthly paycheck within a few days.
How good the feeling to have if you do able to get your monthly paycheck in a 3-4 days of your trade and the pro's on having this full time trader is that you do
really have the time that you can spend on not only to be on your family but also on doing some other things that you do like since you do have the vacant time
to do so not like when you do have some 8-5 job which would really be giving out that kind of shackles for you to do things that you do like.
Not all would really be having that kind of success.
Best feeling. You save a lot of time doing a monthly job just for those few days. I would use the time for something productive again expanding and helping myself to grow in other aspect. But that could also be used in another set of trading for which, if you have gained a monthly paycheck from 3-4 days. Then just imagine and calculate how much you can make money if you're consistently doing it without having a bad day.

If it's the best and can actually generate more than your real job income and will continue to generate as long as you can and can generate in the long run, I don't think that's a big deal and as long as it's not temporary.
For me, real work is the main thing that will pay off every month and my goal in the crypto world is just a promising additional income without having to sacrifice work, the most important thing is to be able to manage the best possible time.
Trading is very risky but it will be profitable if the experts do it.
Congratulations OP, hope your choice for the long term.

Actually I also really want to quit my current job if I have 2 bitcoin in my wallet for trade because now the value is sufficient or exceeds the salary I have probably received from government employees for over 35 years. But honestly it is something that is impossible for me right now because it is a dream. Leave from a real job and starting something with crypto trading in my opinion is a good choice if they have enough capital and also sufficient knowledge. Trading is the best option for get many profit but it is risky.

Since I am in the third world, buying something that is worth $5K is difficult for me. This has caused me and many others to regret everything when bitcoin hit ATH. Just hoping something would result from trading a limited amount of altcoin, but at least it still gave me a bit of an advantage. I wish the OP all the best, now success is in your hands and do well.

~~~
I have been involved in crypto far before him, 5 years before him, and I have 7k dollars total lol. So, some people are great at it, and some people are not, just because one made a profit and became a full time trader with no problem, doesn't mean that others can try and do the same.
That's good, you can still use it as capital for trading. Unfortunately I don't own anything worth $7K right now. LOL
It means that you are an expert in trading, you have a good attitude and a passion for the job and that allows you to make a profit with full-time trading but if someone follows you, I cannot guarantee that they will have similar success. In the world there are many famous people and they give up learning very early, many others refer and follow, the results are not as expected, trading is not a world that can create successful people, before giving up full-time jobs, we should also experiment for a few months, not to lose more to a hasty decision
That's the problem, there are people who are great at trading and they could make a lot of money, I have a friend who used to make about 5k dollars per month as salary, now he is so rich from crypto trading (he has been trading for about 3.5 years, a bit before 2017 peak, spring of 2017 if I am not wrong) he is making about 25k dollars PER DAY, on average of course but he has about 5 million dollars and he doesn't trade most of them, he just holds most of them and trades other stuff and all those increases comes to 25k per day, that of course because the bitcoins he hold, the bnb he holds, the eth he holds all goes up, I am including them into this as well, so 25k profit per day on 5 million dollars is still a lot but when it is all purely in crypto during a bull run, it is quite possible.
I have been involved in crypto far before him, 5 years before him, and I have 7k dollars total lol. So, some people are great at it, and some people are not, just because one made a profit and became a full time trader with no problem, doesn't mean that others can try and do the same.
It's a tough decision as if you are not yet secured then you quit your regular job who knows what will happened to you in the next few months with your new chosen venue of investment.
Always do your deep assessment before dealing with any decision that you'll going to take, beside the easy profits it should also
have a stable passive profits, if you are going to risk your future best to keep your job and let your investment grow first, be wise
and not just to jump into onclusion, unless you are all prepared to pursue your new found business.
I just want to congratulate OP for being so honest to his self and taking a full time career as a trader of crypto because it was a totally risk taking and i guess i couldn't have this kind of guts to settle at this kind of decision because i have a family, and a siblings to be send off to college that is why i need a consistent source of income. Maybe OP had already earn a good for his family from trading so that he made such kind of decision which no one could interupt because it was his personal choice.
Wow that’s really cool, if you’re really making up to that amount of $100,000 in a month like you have said then you’re doing very well. Being able to become full time traders and quit office jobs is the dream of most of the traders out, but unfortunately for most of them they are unable to achieve that. I am not a full-time trader, and I wouldn’t really call myself a trader because what I do most is just to buy the coins I like and then I Hodl them till I’m able to sell them at the rate I want. I’m still wondering how much you used to start this trading to be able to averaging that $100k a month, it’s definitely going to be a lot of money for sure.
If you really want to trade full time, you have to make sure the funds for your needs every month must also be fulfilled, such as having other passive income. honestly trading on an uncertain profit every month. especially if our capital is not big. what is there will provide an additional burden on the mind if we are not able to achieve the desired benefits and precisely for the monthly needs it is still lacking. actually working and trading can still be done because trading does not require a lot of time
Choosing trading is good but he needed to have some money that it save from the bank because income in trading is not like in the job who is monthly or every 2 weeks of the month because they have time trader are not earning money because of the dumping of the market. But it depends also to the trader how they handle that situation and yes they have advantages of choosing trading than the regular job.
But maybe OP is already preparing for everything before he decided to make an exit from his job. What I see him is that he is really wanted to make difference from his previous life, we know trading is risky, and that for sure he knows that already.
It gonna be tough but there is something we need to make a change in order to see a better life. Yeah, who knows exactly if he will succeed in trading and make him a millionaire. Besides, trading is a passion, if he loves it, he is definitely be doing good for it and able to survive despite the risk.
Long live crypto.  Cool
Update and some answers to your questions :https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5321029.msg56477603#msg56477603
You can't really do anything to stop people from doing whatever they want, if they want to spend time on crypto trading they will do that, if they are good they will make enough money to live forever with that money and will never work, if they are not good they will lose their money and go back to working. There is nothing that you could lose here, because it is something you try, there are tons of people who try new careers and crypto trading is a full time career if you ask me, if you can make enough profit you could live with that kind of money.
I obviously do not believe that I can be a full time crypto trader because if I believed it I would have done that, it sounds like a fun and entertaining job and there is no boss or customers which is even better, but at the other hand I am not capable of it so I do not do it, but I would support anyone who wants to at least try it.
It's nice that you found what you really like though it can be risky since trading is not always have a positive outcome especially the market is volatile.
It is nice but to everyone who reads this and is also naïve to think that they can do it too, heed my warning, everyone has different circumstances and you can't have the same results as OP.
No one should leave their job because they found other easy way to make money, the should think about leaving the job only if they have multiple sources of incomes and even few of them should give atleast basic guaranteed returns every month/year or else no one should be thinking about leaving the job just for their very short term success with crypto trading.
It's a tough decision as if you are not yet secured then you quit your regular job who knows what will happened to you in the next few months with your new chosen venue of investment.
Always do your deep assessment before dealing with any decision that you'll going to take, beside the easy profits it should also
I thought you did flash loan like on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILBP38JrjTw
but I think I am wrong.
according to this post, twitter really did the magic too because twitter might be one of your monitoring tools, alongside your strategy to monitor exchange's hot wallets or deposit wallets. so, twitter is not that bad. Please keep updating this thread, especially on #1. I love being motivated by reading something like this. and good luck on your new journey.
No surprise that famous social media mediums would be commonly used as a source of those information even if it isnt really hat much of preferred due to possible shill and hypes but when it comes to
updates and other things then this one is really sufficient or just fits out.
Quitting your job for in exchange with trading then it would really be risky because market is unpredictable you wouldnt know if you would make money or lose in a matter of day.
Its just fine because op is already aware with that and i would definitely do the same if im that really capable.
