Not that many members are using it although it serves its purpose just fine. It is a great addition to the forum, I use it as well.Here are the official numbers, as you can see, not as many people use it as you probably think.

Members come back to their posts because they have the boards or topics they are interested in on their watch lists and they simply frequent the same boards all the time which makes it easier to spot new posts and threads.
