Yes, I'm an asshole
[...]
But they have a fake license on their site which doesn't help.

Supposed license: https://imgur.com/a/ROFijJq
I can't verify their license on my end by clicking on the seal. All I get is a blank and non-loading page.

That info has to be an outdated info and, in a way, "misleading", as [unless I understand the process wrongly] the old four-master-license-holders were now obsolete following Curacaoan govt. revamping their gambling law.

However, the seal of validation should work. I checked from my side, they're verified to be under Anjouan

I'll try to get Zane to make a follow-up with their web builder to make a subsequent change.

I have updated the title now, thanks.

Mind to lock it as well? That's kinda "put a final nail" to the closed case. The button to lock a thread is located at bottom left of the page.

Does that mean that you now have full control over your account and that you can bet and withdraw money if you so please? If the issue has been resolved, you can edit the subject in OP and write "(Resolved)."

I reached out to Zane via the live support and I was able to get my money out. Still very questionable that I had to seek him out in order to get my winnings out. I had previously attempted talking to live support and emailing their manager with no luck. I have updated the title now, thanks.

Edit: Just to be clear, I have not done any arbitrage betting - but I have placed valuebets that I thought were +ev
I mentioned arbitrage betting in my previous reply because because that's what the support agent said over live chat. They mentioned arbitrage and betting on suspicious matches.

EDIT: After reaching out to Zane from rainbet he has resolved this issue for me. He responded fast and helped fix my account.

Rainbet doesn't have an official thread on this forum, ..

There is, but the OP is not anymore active.

Do you umm... read several of the latest posts on a thread before posting your own?
Unfortunately most don't read any replies before commenting. They just read the OP and comment, that's why if you go browse threads, you'll see 20 comments all saying nearly the same thing.

Yes, I'm an asshole
As I assume you've seen a lot lately [...]

Let me page Zane and see if he'll address the matter here.

There is another scam accusation that wasn't resolved.

Scammed by Rainbet for $2147

And if you checked their account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=3528115 which is not active anymore, it has a negative tag, so I think you won't be getting a solution here with your post and that would just be added to the list of scam accusation maintained by a reputable member of the forum.

And regarding "valuebetting", how is it illegal or against the TOS?

Coincidentally, I was in discussion with their rep specifically about that case, as it was [as per my exchange of communication with them], it's the only one of three cases on my list that's not addressed by Zane. I'll come to that thread and address the matter after everything cleared.

I'm pretty sure it's against Curacao Egaming license to confiscate funds from value betting. But they have a fake license on their site which doesn't help.

Supposed license: https://imgur.com/a/ROFijJq

Upon checking the curacao license: https://imgur.com/a/Mg9h3ZQ

It is not an issue with their provider, as I have used the same odds provider before without any issues on many sites. The site is operating with a invalid license and making up terms which essentially requires you to be a losing player or have your money taken.

Edit: Just to be clear, I have not done any arbitrage betting - but I have placed valuebets that I thought were +ev

Rainbet doesn't have an official thread on this forum, but you can reach out to Zane-RB and ask him to comment publicly on your case. He is the casino's representative for Bitcointalk. Casinos not allowing arbitrage betting, closing, and/or confiscating player deposits or winnings is not something new. Certain providers consider such activities to be illegal.

As I assume you've seen a lot lately - rainbet has frozen my account with 6057 of my winnings due to valuebetting.

The response I got from live support: https://imgur.com/a/Idzr3uh
As you can see on their trustpilot a lot of bettors have had the same issues: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/rainbet.com

Seems completely absurd that a betting site can freeze funds if you valuebet on their platform and it's considered "abuse". Stay far away from this site.

I've tried making a formal complaint on their site and contacting the managers but now he is ghosting me. Making a thread here and contacting their odds provider - Betby - as a last resort if it doesn't resolve.
