the decision to let the premine rest in peace is a wise action, it's like burning some coins to reduce the number and make them more tradable since the number reduced and the price has to be increase.

Looks like suprnova pool at trouble, sending 10 Ghz from nicehash, sometimes got rejected, sometimes my hashrate not received in pool.

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

how much you pay, if i can fixed that (all your premine back)
 Grin Grin Grin

LOL

I'd pay you just enough so you couldn't kill the coin from dumping it all Wink

But at this point I think we've all agreed to let the premine rest in peace....

*sniff* he never even had a chance to get dumped...

Total supply atm is around 27.7 Mil

and 20 Mil locked, that's mean we only have 7.7 Mil in circulation
with all dev effort, i believe this coin deserve a good price and not dumped at very very low price.

How should we proceed with reduction?  I've literally locked myself out of the 20m premine.  That's a huge chunk of change, and would definitely benefit everyone if burnt.

Link to address:
https://rain.acc-pool.pw/address/RSEmiSifB1wSnYXf3132dAjFvbs1ABsJ4R

Amount   20038160.00000000 RAIN

Even the 38160 RAIN I mined afterwards are stuck in there, LOL

The only option I can think of is to post the address publicly so everyone could see that I haven't moved them...

...but that would still require everyone to actually trust me here  Tongue

have a look here at Community Coin,
they hardcoded to reject any transactions from a particular address,

locking those coins away for ever !!! even if someone found the lost wallet

https://github.com/communitycoin/communitycoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L306

I've got 20,000 RAIN bounty for anyone that can sucessfully get this working in Condensate-Qt

Send a pull request and a RAIN address Smiley

Dont have much time today, tried it late last night but was half asleep

Can you increase max automatic withdrawal threshold? 1000 is too low.

Community Coin had a different motivation, they banned a huge amount of coins to prevent a select few individuals from manipulating the coin price. If I understand correctly you want to reduce the supply to make a coin more valuable therefore it might not be necessary to lock such a big amount. Just send a chunk of the premine to a non-spendable address and you are good to go.

it actually seems to be the same issue,
ie losing access to the premine.

one minute obavijest had the passphrase, nekminnit, he didnt have the passphrase.

both the wallet in Comm and the wallet here have been "lost",
coding this will make sure they stay lost Smiley
