There has been a community takeover and RAIN has a dev team working on developments as we speak. Its just going to take some time before we see RAIN back on top like the good old days. A new Twitter has been created and soon a new website. If people haven't already then now is the time to join the discord as in the next few days from now there will be a RAIN airdrop! The last airdrop was a success but people must be quick as the spots fill fast. That's I think so.
It's nice to hear that the project has a new dev team. We are looking forward to new updates

Rain is not dead my friend as there is a team working on the project, are you in the discord? That is where all the latest news is released so if you are not in there then I suggest you join so you can keep up to date on whats going on with the project. This will take some time so we must all be patient and while we wait we can stake or join a staking pool to stake if you have a small amount of coins.

No I don't believe they will get RAIN listed on that staking pool because the fee is a little too high and would be better off spent on getting listed on another exchange. It has now been confirmed in the discord that there will be a RAIN airdrop on Friday so again be sure to join and be apart of this first ever RAIN airdrop. To be honest I don't know too much with whats going on behind the scenes, all I know is that they are working on the rain meter and a new website for the coin. Like I said to keep up to date on whats going on, join the discord as that is where all the leatest news and updates will be posted and I'll keep people on here posted on the latest news. But you'll see it first on the discord.

This coin just got listed on Simple POS Pool so I figured I'd check it out.
It says 240 Minimum Stake Age, is that Minutes, Hours or Days? Hopefully it's minutes which would equate to 4 Hours...
Coin is a year old and running at 130-135 sats depending on the exchange. Doesn't seem too bad.

I'm thinking that it would mean minutes as it does take around 4 hours I think before coins are mature for staking or it could be 8 hours. I forgot now its been that long since I got into this coin. The staking pool will help a lot of people out as the minimum now to stake is around 15k RAIN so this pool will help those with less then this amount. The discord is now starting to be more active which is great to see and the github has been forked and a new Twitter handle has been created for RAIN. Things are slowly starting to move along which is great.
Based on your statement above, I could easily buy around 20k RAIN and if I understood it correctly, that will definitely provide me a good staking weight in the network. Right? . If that's the case, I don't need any staking pool and will not try for safety purposes. I'm also an advocate of staking your own coin (granted that you have enough for it) because you do not know what will happen to that staking site in the future (ehem coinmarket LOL). With 20k RAIN, what is the frequency that I will receive my stake?
Yes that is correct 20k RAIN will provide you with a stake weekly, sometimes two if your lucky. If you want you could get 30k and split them into 15k blocks which will help your chances at staking more often even higher. At first it will take some time to build weight but once you get going you should stake often. Good luck!
